Friendliest most personable staff. The dog bath stations are always clean and stocked with clean towels and a variety of shampoo. Always a nice stress free experience.

This review is in no way a reflection of the staff however, we couldn't leave without expressing our frustration from our recent visit to this store. Although its not our first time shopping at this location, it is however the first time we needed to purchase a new prong collar for our Cane Corso. While I was looking at the collar display, my wife was approached by the staff and my wife said that we are looking for a prong collar. I came to the realization, by the lack of said collars on the shelf, that this location doesn't sell training collars. The staff verbally affirmed that they don't sell prong collars. I asked why, and the staff appeared perturbed. I then asked if this location is privately owned and they did confirm this. So, I had every intention on purchasing said collar at around 60+ dollars, Acana kibble at around 100+ dollars, a couple of bully stick at around 17+ dollars each, among other things as a sporadic customer but my wife and I decided to walk out. We felt judged and this owner should be ashamed to push their personal position on prong collars buy not supplying this product.They carry choke collars though. No worries, our PetValu does supply them, and they'll receive our biweekly business.

Disgusted by the ignorant customer service on my visit there July 24/23. 1st time in with my 5month old Doberman pup, his ears were cropped by the breeder and currently still posting. The face of the employee spoke a thousand words, she rushed me at the door asking what I “needed”, after showing me the product and was interested she was agitated that I started to browse the store rolling hers eyes as I passed her into the food isle. Never have I had such an experience in any pet stores let alone a Pet Value. I have made several purchases in the past without my dog with me but after this experience I will no longer give this franchise location anymore business. Bolton and Nobleton hands down are much better choices.

Love this store, always have my cats favorites in stock and a nice selection of toys for them right along the way back to the cash register so I can go home and spoil them a wee bit!

The younger staff are very friendly & knowledgable. We always like to ask them their opinions on our new puppies care. However, we went in last night, and a much older blonde worker was rude to my husband and I. She gave us very glaring stares as if we were doing something wrong by simply existing. She then snarled at me to put my puppy on a leash (who was trying on harnesses at the time) i said sorry, and she rolled her eyes at me. I didnt see any signs that said this was the policy. So how would I have know this rule? She could have been more professional, and let us know in a better manner. I felt so uncomfortable we left. I was going to use this location to buy our $65 bag of food & baths bi weekly. However, this lady has ensured we will never return. I will also make sure all of our friends, family, co workers & employees will not use this location either. If she doesnt like animals or people, why is She working in this role? Clearly not fit to work in customer service!
