Unionville (Fisherman Village), an old town with a German style, is located in the northwest corner of Hwy7/Kennedy in Markham, Toronto. The town was first built by the Germans in 1794. Later, several famous Canadian painters, the "Group of Seven", also settled here. Although more than two hundred years have passed, the ancient buildings on the main street still maintain their original appearance.
