Shopping Centers & Malls
Hours: New Kennedy Square is a bustling community mall located at the southwest corner of Highway 7 and Kennedy in Markham. The plaza boasts a diverse selection of over twenty fantastic restaurants and eateries, offering a wide range of Asian and other cuisines to cater to the community's diverse palate. Beyond dining options, the mall is home to numerous clinics, wellness centres, optometrists, hairstylists, and aestheticians, ensuring visitors' overall well-being. The mall's traditional Hong Kong-style and family-owned stores create a unique sense of community, making visitors feel at home. While the mall has seen better days, it remains a popular destination, particularly on Friday nights and weekends, with hidden gems like cane sugar juice, egg tarts, and Wifey pastries from the renowned Hen Heung bakery. Outside the mall, visitors can indulge in Coco boboa tea, BBQ skewers, and delectable seafood from Top Choice. Despite the occasional parking challenges and flooding issues during heavy rain, New Kennedy Square continues to serve as a convenient and vibrant hub for the local community.
