The branch used to have excellent service and customer care before covid. Now there is less customers but wait time is much longer. I went in at 3:50PM and waited for 25 mins for a teller and I am the only person in the line. Everyone including the branch manager I can tell is just waiting for the 5PM to go home. Looking at their phones sitting at empty desk and cubicles, and walking around. This is my home branch but I will go anther branch that is more efficient.

This branch deserves zero star!! ATM is always broken and will take your money away! Used the machine to deposit on different occasions both times the machine took the money, even the drive through atm! Stay away from the branch at all cost, learned my lesson the hard way!

Went in today and their atm machine doesn’t accept cash deposits. Went to teller- middle aged man with the beer belly dressed in causal camo attire was not helpful as I asked to exchange the bill and he said he couldn’t. Other tellers also dressed in hoodies. Unprofessionally dressed, all looked extremely bored despite a line of people waiting.

The customer service I experienced at the bank was extremely poor. The teller was impolite and lacked the necessary expertise to address my concerns. When I attempted to speak with an Asian woman who appeared to be in charge, she ordered me to stop and wait for my turn to converse with her. Although I had intended to transfer my funds to this branch, I have now decided against it and will make an effort to steer clear of this bank in the future.

It took me waiting for 30 mins in line in order to deposit a cheque, while 3 tellers were at one computer discussing to service ONE customer and don't know why. Had 4 counters but only two were open. One of the teller lady just ignored the people who waited there for half an hour and left. Took me another 10 mins to deposit the cheque. Very unprofessional.

Slow teller service, not very friendly, phone service glacial and mostly inaccurate. ATM worked tho'. Finally closed my account after 2 years and even that was a major hassle of wrong advice and run-around.

Amazing staff. I’ve been a client for over five years now & every single visit has been nothing but wonderful & that’s a genuine statement. The front desk team, and the management have always been attentive if there were to be any issues with my account and they took the liberty to contact the call Center and resolve the matter. Thank you for a solid experience.

I wrote a review a while back for this Scotiabank. The entire listing seems to have vanished. So, here I go again. I tend to hit the drive-thru at this bank when I'm in the area. It's on the northeast corner of Highway 7 and Warden Avenue, next to Booster Juice. It's cool that Markham Town Centre has two drive-thrus. The other one is McDonald's. Tonight, I needed to deposit some money. I hit the drive-thru. The option to withdraw money wasn't available. However, depositing money was there. Yay! I like that the ABM is able to detect how much money I want to deposit. It was correct and straightforward. I have only been in the branch to use the ABM once. The ABM area was clean and bright. My experience was great. It was before the pandemic. It's a decent branch to either deposit or withdraw money through an ABM. If you like drive-thrus, try the one here. (15)
