If I could give Canada Post service, for delicate items that have been sent via express post, minus stars, i would in this particular area of Durham. Not even an explanation in the tracking for the delays. This is not the first time this has happened for the same type of package I have been slated to receive, even with their own alert labels clearly marked on the box. Chronicly grievously neglectful handling of time semsitive and delicate items. Use another service for your postal needs in Uxbridge, Ontario

I called to check into the status of a package that had been processed at Uxbridge that am but didn’t say out for delivery.I was worried Because it was a gift for my daughter’s birthday that day. I called a couple times and lo and behold, the woman from Canada post, the delivery person, came right to my door with a package. She was so lovely and so accommodating and I could tell she made her way all the way back to deliver that to me personally. I’ve never been so thankful!

I called last week about a missing package that was marked delivered and was talked to like I was lying about not receiving my package. Called again today to see if there was any progress with the missing package and was told “ there was nothing they could do, that my package was marked as delivered and that if it wasn’t, I was to contact the sender to receive new items”.

I had an important envelope that got missing. The staff from the Post office in 67 Brock St., Uxbridge Ontario. Was really helpful. So accurate information. Very nice people.

I went to pick up a very large package at this location. I was 9 months pregnant and asked the woman at the front desk to help me lift the package into my car. She called a very unpleasant woman from the back of the post office who came out and told me the package was too heavy to help me. I said without any help I would be doing it myself, she didn't seem to care, brought me the trolly and told me, "don't forget to bring it back!" In a very condescending way. With two toddlers and 9 months pregnant I had to do lift a package (a table) into the back of my truck alone. I've been to plenty of post offices where --even when not pregnant have been offered help. When I arrived home my husband was disgusted that the post office refused to help me, common courtesy and kindness is very hard to find these days.
