The bank teller completely lied and said I had to give weeks notice if I wanted to make a withdrawal and also said that it was “policy” to ask what the withdrawal was for. Vanessa was the name of the bank teller, it shoulf not be that difficult to make a withdrawal

When into the Uxbridge branch looking to increase my credit limit without an appointment (I know not my best idea) but figured if I at least scheduled an appointment I’d be happy. I explained my situation to Peter (at the teller desk) and with great customer service he was able to connect me virtually with a representative and had my situation resolved within 20 minutes! I wasn’t expecting to have this resolved today but thanks to Peter’s commitment to excellent customer service I was in and out in 20 minutes with a better outcome than planned.

I went in yesturday to make a bank acount, I'm 16 so this is my first bank acount. I was unsuccsesful the first time because I needed photo ID and adress, so I made an appointment and came back today. I was then told my appointment was for tomorrow and not today even though I double checked that it was for today. They had nobody waiting for tellers and 2-3 people at the front so we asked if they could just take us then and was told no. They then told us to come back tomorrow, even though we have already been there twice and still unable to make an acount. How is their staff so busy when there are multiple people in offices and 2-3 tellers standing around at the front. Very unprofestional and incredibly unhelpful.

Most untrained staff. Just go to a different bank. It will save you in the long run.

That was the best experience I have ever had in any bank branches. Mark was amazing and went behind his job requirement to help me out in a way I did not think was doable. I wish there was more than 5 stars because he deserve more. Thanks Mark you made my day ??

Went to open a joint account showed up at 4:25 teller said not enough time to do it because there was only 2 tellars on yet no one else but me and wife in Scotiabank. She left work early as there hours are only 9:30am-5pm monday to Friday and she works 9-6 monday thru Friday. No help from tellars basically laughed and said just set up appointment. Never heard of an appointment for a simple chequing account. And if it's stated the appointment only takes 30 mins and I'm there 30 minutes before close sounds like more then enough time to for fill a simple chequing account request. 0 star if I could

The Scotiabank in Uxbridge is excellent, my wife and I are so thankful that they helped us buy this beauty. You see our income streams don't exactly tick normal boxes on the form's at a bank. Julie Palmer really went to bat for us, and Mr. Bond (not James ?) supported us all the way. thanks

Anytime the market goes up they stop answering the phone. They’d rather wait until the market goes back down to cash out mutual funds or other investments

Hands down the best service I have EVER had!! Went in after a bad experience in Stouffville and they went over and beyond to help me out of a glitchy situation. Actually, I have to admit, because of Stouffville, I went in here with very little patience (witch is a low move of me!) and the staff insisted on doing everything to help me. Not only did they keep me from closing my account, but they helped me transfer from my Quebec branch to theirs with very little hassle. Thank you Kaitlyn & others who pitched in!

Best Bank Ever! I think the previous reviews was during a time they were working out technology glitches. I too had the web system (over a year ago) book me at a Scotia bank for an appointment not local for me. However no regrets joining the Uxbridge branch they have been heads over heels perfect! Just walk in and meet face to face like a human, you will have no complaints.

I have to agree with the other reviews here. I cannot ever get a call back or email response back form the branch in a timely fashion.
