As long as your not using the pharmacy this location is ok. It's mainly the pharmacy that I've had bad experiences with. I had to completely change pharmacies as a result of feeling discriminated against. Idk if bcuz I'm indigenous or bcuz I was on OW at the time, but I was new to Ottawa and just starting out in a new area. Since then I've been in there many times to use the post office and buy items and any time ive need to ask the pharmacy a question the are a unfriendly bunch of people back there. Everyone walking past you while you wait at the counter to inquire about something over the counter and there's at least 6 or 7 people back there. Customer service really lacks in their pharmacy when they're job is providing a service to the public. Kindness goes a long way.

Terrible experience at this store. If there is a sale sticker on an item they don’t care. I had something that was on sale and I guess it was the wrong label put on. Yet as it was someone else who did it NOTHING could be done? I’ve never had that before with any store. It was the company’s mistake.

DO NOT BUY CALLING CARDS HERE THEY DONT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A CALLING CARD AND A CALLING VOUCHERS. 2 SEPERATE THINGS. I WAS TAXED AND CANNOT USE THIS BECAUSE ITS NOT A CALLING CARD SO IM OUT 23$. SAID I WOULD BE CONTACTED BY PHONE AND NEVER WAS. PROBLEM WAS NEVER RECTIFIED.

*SCAM WARNING* This place has been going down for years now. It's Friday evening, trying to get a prescription filled and was told I need a code or else the prescription was going to cost me $100. Well it's the long weekend and my doctors office is now closed so I am out of luck. Thanks for trying to take advantage by attempting to charge me for something that is covered. How am I supposed to know I needed a code?? I'm not a doctor or pharmacist, which is how the scam works, they know that. I have been with this place for years now and there's no customer trust. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! Eventually they will try to screw you. Now just waiting for the old "COPY AND PASTE" reply they do to everyone, watch.

I called with a specific request and Eric (Vanier location) was super patient and helpful on the phone. He did not dismiss my call and offered awesome service and found the item i was searching for! Definitely recommend

I've never had a terrible experience here but what I find annoying is the generic computerized answers from the owner of Jean Coutu. Shows he doesn't care about his customers. Take the time to read your reviews Sir! And respond personally!
