I would like to express my immense gratitude and thanks to Rosemary Burgio, Senior Banker, and Lucy Avila, Branch Manager of this branch for being so incredibly helpful and empathetic toward me. Anyone who has lost a parent knows how difficult a time it can be for anyone who has been assigned the duties of an executor. As soon as I entered the bank and explained to a teller my circumstances, that person called her manager, Lucy, who immediately assigned Rosemary to guide me thru this process. Rosemary has been my lifeline at BMO since that time. In fact, I have to say that ALL the staff at this branch have been so kind and attentive. Every time I walk in, they seem to remember me and know that I am not there for routine banking but that I am grieving and dealing with the complexities of probate and everything else that goes along with losing a loved one. Everyone I have encountered at this branch is kind, pleasant and helpful – and I have to think that this sort of environment trickles down from senior management. Not only has it been a nice and helpful place to visit, but I can only surmise based on the pleasant demeanor of all the staff that they enjoy their work culture too – which is so important these days. I still have lots to work through over the coming months but knowing the staff at this branch have my back has been such a load off my mind. Thank you so much.

Meah... 1 year later still waiting for the discharge mortgage papers. Discussed the issue with them again and again and 4 weeks later still waiting for an answer...P.s. The BMO Digital Care Team are useless. They never answered back to my email or made anything happen. Waste of time.

Terrible experience this morning. I’ve been with BMO for over 30 years and I’m withdrawing $2,000 and it was uncomfortable. First ID needed to be shown, fine. Then she goes on to say ‘we see a lot of fraud’ as if I could be one of those people. Then she SCRAPED the bottom right corner of my ID with her nails to ensure it was real. I repeat, SCRAPED. Then she says my address out loud and says I could be using a different branch closer me. I explained I was running another errand nearby and she goes on to tell me all the other branches I could go to. I’m here, can you serve me?This behaviour is learned and someone trained them to do this. The branch manager should be ashamed but probably thinks they did the right thing. Wrong.

Sandra Rezza one of the worst managers in the banks. She Racial profiles her customers and give’s service based on the colour of your skin. I’m a realtor I have direct deposits coming in from my brokerage for my commission. I went in today to get a bank draft to a lawyers office. She refused me service stating I need to verify the funds. When they are released funds. Made me wait 20 minutes just to tell me I can’t help you. I thought it might have been true so I left, Called BMO customer service they clearly told me that there is nothing on hold, nothing wrong with my account. Will be cancelling all my services with BMO.

The best staff!! I came in right before a long weekend, so the staff were clearly working extra hard to deal with the many customers. Despite being the only manager in store, Filza generously took time out to help me with my baking needs. She was so lovely and managed to get my stuff completely sorted while helping other customers (even some unhappy ones, which is never easy...but she maintained such professionalism and efficiency despite!). The rest of the staff were equally as lovely and kept the office open a bit after hours to finalize my transactions. Super refreshing to have an easy banking experience!
