This branch has been extremely disappointing. The staff consistently show a lack of professionalism and make no effort to listen to clients’ needs. Despite being mature adults, many of the employees display poor attitude, laziness, and unwillingness to assist properly. It feels like they are only interested in bossing clients around rather than providing quality service.
It might be time to give young, motivated individuals a chance
people who are willing to listen, understand customer needs, and approach their work with a positive and helpful attitude.

The last time I visited the branch to open a bank account for my dad, they didn’t have a Persian-speaking representative. I offered to translate for him, but they accused me of possibly misinterpreting information. I was very disappointed. The teller was rude and acted in a discriminatory manner.

This is a terrible bank. The employees are totally unhelpful. They literally try to prevent you from accessing your own money.

The staff there are racist. A blonde elderly lady working behind the teller is known to ask questions that do not concern her. My brother came in to get a new card and because he is a person of colour she was asking him very personal questions such as “why are you here??? …how did you get to this branch because I know you didn’t drive ??! Are you committing fraud?? Such ridiculous questions. This bank needs to do better especially their approach to working towards inclusivity. It’s 2025!!!! Please train your employees!!

If you can avoid going to this branch, please save yourself a headache. The most incompetent group of financial advisors and mortgage advisors. We were getting incorrect advice from a financial advisor around when to engage a lawyer, at which point my father, a retired Realtor, attempted to correct the statement. He was very rudely mocked by the FA only to have the branch manager confirm at a later time that they were in the wrong.
We were quick to take our business to another financial institution, closed out the mortgage but ofcourse Scotia still took out a mortgage payment...

I have been banking with Scotia Bank, I have never had any NSf, I have been a loyal client of Scotia bank, went to Weston and Majore Mackenzie to see if they can reverse NSF fee that I got charged since I have just recently signed for life insurance and they never told me exactly which of day of the month they will debt my Account. I said can you guys reverse it as it’s an honest mistake the teller went to talk to the manager came back said no, I said close my account then since there is a lot of other options for me to do my banking anyway, the teller was new and polite but the manager was rude and no manners when she came to override her teller, I have a line of credit which I will close soon and my visa is zero balance anyway will close it, was very disappointed.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Judging by the reviews, I’m clearly not the only one who feels this way. The customer service was absolutely disgusting, and there seems to be no streamlined process for opening an basic account. A particular interaction with a woman named Vincenza was especially off-putting, which has completely discouraged us from opening an account with Scotiabank. I’ll be taking my business to another bank. Do better.

Poor customer service skills and was unexpected from the Branch Manager! So, now I can see the reason for a bunch of complaints for this Branch in our neighborhood. I was warned by my next door neighbour to stay away from this Branch but today unfortunately I had to go there. First of all, I have booked a phone appointment for the investments (intended to bring more money to Scotiabank) but never received the call from a Branch neither any emails with explanation why wasn’t getting that SCHEDULED appointment. After that, I’ve decided to go in person BUT! Instead of at least to apologize for the inconvenience and wasted time, the Branch Manager started to argue with me. She asked me to come back in another time (to bring my money to Scotiabank) ironically right? Also, the Branch Manager was going to redeem funds from registered accounts without even thinking of the tax implication. Likely I stopped her from this costly mistake. She didn’t even listen what I was inquiring and instead was trying to do an opposite. The Branch Manager did absolutely everything to proof the low level of bank products knowledge and procedures. Not clear, since when in Canada clients must bagging the Bank to let them to bring the investments. Is Scotia reacher than we think ??? lol… I’m moving away my investments from Scotia after this horrible experience. Closed my credit card already, don’t want to be associated with this bank anymore. Will advise all my friends and neighbours to do not repeat my mistake and stay away from this specific Branch with such unprofessional staff, especially the Branch Manager who is definitely needed to be trained better for this job.

I had the best service at this branch. I had ongoing issues and the supervisor Mariela took her time to help me with it. She even contacted me the following week to see how everything was and if I needed and more help. Thank you for resolving my issue that no other branches could resolve it.
