Totally unprofessional. Would give 0 stars if i could. Endured an application process that was more invasive than employment, airport and border screenings put together. Then i received NO communication for over a week. After I followed up they said sorry the cat is gone and your application is denied.
Maybe there should be rescue organizations for rescue organizations.

Team Cat Rescue was quick to respond to my application and was very thorough with the interview before approval of adoption - very telling that they care deeply about their cats and want the best for them. I have now had Dumpling for close to a year and the light of my life! I am so grateful to TCR for giving me my best friend!

My family has owned cats since I was ten years old, and I'm in my 60's now. I think I've got a pretty fair idea of how to keep a cat healthy, happy and long-lived. Team Cat Rescue didn't agree, and after my last cat (a rescue) died of FIV, which he had at the time I adopted him, I contacted TCR. I filled in their needlessly personal application, figuring they only wanted what was best for their cats. Not so. What they want us to enjoy their little power trips. I spoke to a woman who used to work at the Horse Palace and she confided in me that many "cat women", herself included, had flawed relationships with humans, and overcompensate with their feline friends. I would go a step further and say that you good ladies of TCR really don't mind if you're inflicting pain on people... Incidentally I found a lovely cat on Kijiji, FREE to good home. I'm a damned good home. We just celebrated our 16th anniversary together. TCR, how do you sleep nights? Probably luxuriating in smug self satisfaction.... Dream on, gals.

I contacted this place twice last year to volunteer and they have never responded to me. Why ask for volunteers on your website if you don't respect people's time? If this is how these people are then I missed a bullet.

We adopted Brutus just under 4 years ago through team cat rescue. We had 4 other cats at the time but we just had to adopt this older cat, 5 years of age, and give him a forever home. He was great with the cats as if he had been here his whole life. Absolutely loving. Unfortunately he developed a tumour in his mouth and we had to euthanize him in March. Miss him and his personality immensely. He was a great addition to our family and we thank team cat rescue for giving us the opportunity to bring this great cat into our home. He will always be known as our French cat.

TCR is an organization run by volunteers that are literal angels. I adopted my beautiful cat a few years ago. The adoption process was thorough and it gives me confidence that I chose a responsible rescue to adopt from (there are so many rescues out there that just want to place animals asap and I personally do not agree with that approach). It breaks my heart that my beautiful kitty was tossed away like garbage and I'm so thankful TCR rescued her She's perfect

Terrible experience. Team’s communication was horrific. I had two vet references that have taken care of my cat & dog for the last several years. They demanded a third. They are unprofessional & I do not recommend going through them for any adoptions.
