Honesty don’t even do reviews but I was just so disgusted and appalled I figured I’d share. It’s nov 10th 9am early snow so it’s cold out and people are getting in accidents, so I get that they’re busy and will surcharge people to maximize profits this time of year that’s what businesses do.
I have a blown head gasket cars leaking an absurd amount of oil so I’d rather not drive it the 1 minute and further the damage, called to get a tow and get pricing for (1.5km drive as shown below) and maybe a 15 minute maximum process as the car is FWD so it does not need a flatbed which costs more just a regular truck that can lift it by the front wheels which is cheaper.
I asked at the end for the price
(As I was never told the pricing I was just asked how I would pay and felt that it was gonna be a touchy subject) so I asked how much to get it moved and I’m told $150 ??? mind you
(The distance is 1.5km, a 15 minute maximum process to hook up and detach the vehicle depending on the tow operator, 1 minute of travel, don’t need a bigger truck like a flatbed cause the vehicle is not AWD it’s FWD, and I’m calling early in the morning so it shouldn’t be ridiculously busy yet and on top of that im supposed to wait hypothetically 30-45 mins on top of that I just had to laugh and tell them to cancel the service cause just 😂)
Honestly just disgusted.
Call me cheap if you will as the only reason I called is because my towing through my insurance said I’d have to wait 4 hours.
Edit - to your reply. As I stated to the dispatcher it’s leaking an absurd amount of oil when switched on it does not need to be switched on to be towed by the front wheels thus I did not need a flatbed, you have the equipment to accommodate each type of drivetrain. Second your a business in an area with little to no competition this is a peak season for a business like this so yes you can maximize profits as people don’t have a choice. 3rd I’ve tried getting a tow through you guys earlier for a different vehicle for a leaking radiator in April, it was a luxury vehicle AWD and drive distance would have been 24km and taken 32 mins, plus the time to load and unload the vehicle and it was AWD so flatbed higher pricing, I was told a range from 220-240 for that. So where does this 70-90 difference come from ? For a 1.5km 1 minute drive, no flatbed required, non luxury vehicle tow. It’s not hard to put 2 and 2 together to realize when you’re being ripped off if you have common sense.

Required a tow from my residence and Eric B was the operator who arrived. I had my young children present(4 and 8yrs), not only was Eric very professional and extremely efficient on getting the vehicle hooked up, but he also took some time to explain to the kids which lever did what and how the truck bed operated which made their day.
Google needs a to allow a zero star rating for crummy companies and a 5+ star rating for people like Eric B and the company that they respeesent.
I don't plan on calling for a Tow in the near future but if I do, I will be calling B&B and requesting Eric B.

I had a car picked up and taken in for a safety then returned to storage. Two different drivers, both very friendly and both very efficient. Highly recommend their service.

got us out of a very difficult location during a horrendous blizzard. made the extra mile and called in favours to get us all out. definitely pricey but you are paying for safety and security. fantastic service

Met my maker on flos rd at 3am in the form of a 5ft snow drift. Jason from BB towing (CAA) got me out, turned around and on my way. Friendly, experienced, and fast.

I have had these guys twice once was James he was amazing he was there fast super friendly so thankful for him. The sec time was Jason another amazing driver friendly arrived super fast both times caa said it would be hours to wait and both times with in 20 mins someone was already with me or on there way. Best customer service ever I would recommend these guys anyday anytime. Thanks guys your amazing
