If I could give a zero star I would. The customer service here is awful and unfriendly. I’ve had numerous bad experiences here now, and am veto-ing this store going forward.

Who ever the older lady with curly hair in auto parts is she needs to learn to respect her place of work.. myself and husband over heard her talking poorly of what I could only assume was another employee..making sad comments on how she thinks they should be fired and a few other ignorant remarks i wont comment on. I can only assume she didn't realize I was standing close enough to hear this conversation. But regardless she should not be speaking like this at a place of work..I feel very bad for who ever she was speaking about as it seems she has a serious hate on for them. And as a business owner myself I couldn't just stay quiet about the behavior. I hope she is told that her comments are not appropriate.

I am not one to write bad reviews but I had an awful experience at this Canadian Tire. I called ahead of time to explain my situation with my tent return, as when setting it up on our camping trip it had a rip on the fly (this was the first time setting it up and I bought it a few days prior). I explained to the sales associate my concerns and she told me to come in to speak to a manager.
I spoke with the manager Tracey and she rudely said to me “did you even read your receipt as it says here you cannot get a refund if it is opened”. She then said I could do an exchange which wasn’t what I wanted as at this point I didn’t want this type of tent if it is going to rip on me that easy.
She said I couldn’t even do a instore credit so I ended up exchanging for the same tent. This was unfortunate as it wasn’t what I wanted and the sales associates seemed to have no patience and had an awful attitude when all I was trying to do was explain my situation.
I hope someone higher up can address these behaviours, thank you.

Sandra from, I think customer service is truly a wonderful help. Very polite and knowledgeable about product and people. CT is very lucky to have her. Most wonderful experience shopping for tomato sauce supplies. Will be black for more Jars I'm sure lol.

Been in many times to get something only to find out they don't have it in stock. Went for a spark plug for my weed Wacker and again none in stock so I asked for an ngk brand and the girl behind the counter had no clue how to do that. Went to Midland unfortunately the plug was sold the day before but the counter person offered to order it in for me. Now I know where to go if you want service and it's no Wasaga Beach. Midland has my business from now on

This store’s automotive department is not loyal to customers. I bought a car battery there and had a deal to get $20.00 back with a yellow tag. When I brought my old battery back, over a year later with that yellow $20 tag, the lady there asked me for my receipt. I told her that I don’t think I kept a receipt and did not know I had to have one. I told them to look it up on their computer and they found my purchase. Still insisted on bringing in my paper receipt, saying that they wanted to avoid paying out more than once. I asked her if she recognized me and if she thought that I might be trying some trick? Did not make any difference nor asking her to speak to the manager. So I decided not to shop there and instead drive to Collingwood where the service is much better.

I always get amazing service at this Canadian Tire store and today was no exception. A big shout out to Sandra who helped me out today with a very heavy item. Great friendly and helpful customer service!!!
