this is a LCBO location (south hamilton square) that i don't regularly go to as it's out of my area. i will come here if my regular stores are out of/running low on certain product.
SHS is not a big store by any stretch of the imagination. but it has enough of the essentials to get you thru your adult beverage needs for your occasion at hand.
parking in the plaza is plentiful, however be advised it does get congested quite easily during the day, as far as navigating within, into, and out of the plaza.
staff here have been generally polite on all my visits.
i would like to add a texas-sized shout-out to retail floor workers lisa and andrew for their genuine kindness in assisting me with product inventory inquiries and with general customer service in the store. am wishing both individuals all the best at the store and in their personal lives. ⭐️

half-star knocked off for limited vodka cooler selection and for lack of chilled cooler beverages section. unless you're buying beer here, you're going to have budget time at home to get room temperature products chilled in your fridge/freezer.
SHS does have an extensive chilled beer section at the very back of the store.
bottom line: if you have to come here, it's a serviceable location. it's right next door to fortinos so you can do grocery shopping and make adult beverage purchases all in one area. just make sure you're coming here knowing there's no extended hours fri-sat-sun. ?”
“Dropped to return some empties. This will be increasingly difficult come soon as maybe local beer stores have closed. Many grocery and corner stores may refuse to take empties back come the new year so the plan to make beer and wine available almost everywhere may flop!!”

“Great selection and service. They have wine samples on Saturday. Vera was very kind and explained the selection to match our preference. Parking can be tight, the parking lot seems busy on weekends.”
“So convenient to go here. Offers lots of samples. Only thing I would say is for you to check the manufacturing dates on products to make sure they're not too old. I purchased a box of Growers BlackBerry coolers and they were flat and tasted bad. I brought them back and they exchanged them no problem.”

“Always a good expierence, friendly staff. When it comes to beers I'm clueless, and Greg was super helpful and knowledgeable with reccomendations, without making me feel bad for my lac if knowledge. He pointed out a few options he thought I'd like by what I had described to him, and suggested what to look for when picking new ones to try in the future. he was absolutly right and I liked all of the beers he suggested. Also only location in the area to carry my favorite vodca "hounds"”

“I've tried about 11 items on the menu and I have lot's more to go! Really good food here. The locals look serious but friendly. 2 adults dined here several times and we keep returning here when we're in the area, that says a lot. We have yet to try the surrounding restaurants - some day. Thanks!
