Thank you to Jerry, Terrance (I think it was) and their team! I went in for a transmission service and they were very friendly and helpful!
Not only did they explain what they were doing , but they installed a pair of wipers I had for free
also reattached my under carriage engine splash shield that had fallen off without charge
Alot of employees at these places take advantage/try to upsell …some flat out lie…but they did neither!
As a female, I appreciate this kind of honesty

5 min oil change? Then why did I wait over 25 min for 1 car to leave the bay? Thought I would give another chance considering they used the wrong oil the first time, even though I specifically said semi-synthetic. Do better for your future customers.

I recently had my vehicle serviced at Take 5 Oil Change #4401 (64 Dundas St) on August 30th. As part of the service, windshield washer fluid was added. Unfortunately, the fluid used was not suitable for winter conditions and froze, leading to a cracked washer fluid reservoir and system damage. My mechanic confirmed the issue and I now face a $700 repair bill.
I have proof of service from Take 5 and detailed repair receipts from my mechanic, which clearly outline the cause of the damage. This situation could have been avoided had the correct winter-grade fluid been used.
I reached out to Take 5 Oil Change to request reimbursement for the repair costs, as the damage was directly caused by their service. They haven’t responded in their “Contact Us” Form. I hope they take responsibility and address this issue promptly.
Until then, I cannot recommend this location, as their oversight has resulted in a costly and frustrating experience.
