I visited the store around 4:30 PM today to return a gift that was given to me without a receipt. I figured I could at least get a store credit on a gift card and return at another time to purchase Items that I could use, but I was in such a rush, but I didn’t have time to shop around the store so I walked in and went right to customer service with my return. The customer service representative told me that Walmart policy no longer allows returns without Receipts so I would only be granted a direct exchange for an item that is equal value to To the item I was exchanging. I was a little shocked to hear this and questioned it at first and the representative said this was fairly new and because I was in such a rush, I didn’t ask questions. I had already logged in the item from my car and said how do I do this? Do I leave the item at customer service and shop around the store? Do I bring it with me? It was a large box of crockpots. She said I could leave them at customer service and shop around the store, which didn’t really make any sense But I did as I was instructed because I was in such a rush. I felt like I had to make a quick decision on what to exchange the item for. I ended up grabbing a couple of toiletry items and exchange them at customer service. After chatting with one of my friends and checking Walmart online policy, this is completely incorrect. I should’ve been issued a gift card as I had requested As long as I was able to provide a copy of my government ID. I’ve attached a copy of Walmart’s policy that I’ve just been able to retrieve directly from Canada’s website. I’m thoroughly disappointed with this as I could’ve taken the time to really shop around the store for things that I actually needed rather than be in a rush as I had already taken the time to lug the items out of my car And I wasn’t sure when I was going to be able to return to Walmart to make this return. Please educate your customer service staff on the policies as this is very disappointing

Do not order pickup. 2 items missing from order. My husband didn't notice. Nothing to be done except flush money down the toilet.

I don’t know about other people but buying formula here is an absolute nightmare. They have it all locked up in the back of store, then you scan a QR code for assistance unlocking the cage and that always comes back with “an associate is not
Available to assist and to find someone else who can help”, then you have to find someone else who needs to find someone else to get the key or you find someone else who tells you to walk to customer service to get someone only to walk all the way back to formula where they then escort you with your formula to make sure you don’t steal it. It honestly adds 20 minutes to shopping which is a nightmare enough when you have young children with you. I’m all for protecting product if it is getting stolen by others. If you need to do that then hire enough staff to cover your “solution” to the theft problem. I’d rather drive to the Appleby location. Probably get home sooner anyway.

Jacob was amazing at the electronic counter tonight. Answered all my questions ( a-lot of them!) and helped me find the best deal. Highly recommend if looking for a new phone and or plan.

First time at this Walmart and had to return something purchased at a different location. Customer service, namely Kathleen, was wonderful. No problems at all, apologetic and so friendly. Probably one of the nicest Walmarts so far. Everything was clean and very well stocked .

This Walmart has really gone downhill in the last year or two. They've eliminated a bunch of different products. Limited variety/brands. Signage for where to find things is incorrect in the grocery aisles. Customer service workers don't know where to find items if you ask. They extended the shelves upwards with ++ products so light is obscured (just feels cramped/unpleasant while shopping). You have to triple check due dates as newly expired items aren't consistently pulled off the shelves. Almost exclusively self-serve checkouts where the workers stare blankly at you and/or chat each other. Maybe under different management? Either way the reps at customer service are a pain to deal with. No longer a go-to place to grocery shop.

This is for the walmart in waterdown ontario, this is a new review from October of 2025. Because they have taken the reviews off of their website. So you can't leave one anymore. Well, I'm going to let you know what I discovered today. I've been going to this store since the day they opened. I've had issues with accessibility because I can only use an electric cart. I've got to admit that they have gotten much better today. I went in and I wanted to buy some sweaters for winter. I went to the plus size department. And I couldn't find it, and they had put a whole section that was the plus section with a brand name called. IVAYLA ivala, and so I went looking for somebody to tell me, where did they move the plus section to After quite a while and looking around the section for 45 minutes, someone came and said they would take me there. Well, they took me back and said, well, you can get night gowns and pajamas in plus sizes. I said, yeah, but where's the rest of the clothes? And she walked me just a few minutes. The other side and she said, we're phasing it out. We don't have much anymore. So what kind of message does that send? Does that mean they don't want large people in their store? I spend a minimum of 4:00 to $500 a month. Well, they're certainly not getting my money. I'll find somebody else who isn't prejudiced against people that are large. So heed this notice if you regularly go there for large clothes, size 1X to 5 Five x, you will not get them anymore because they don't want you in this store

They treat Uber Drivers like garbage here. Orders are scheduled and reserved for 5:30pm, but when you get there.. they don’t answer your call, any other customers comes after you.. they give them their orders first. I was told, the customers orders are first. I was here from 5:23.. 3, customers came after me and I had to sit and wait- mind you, I have 12 customer order to deliver- they treat Uber Direct Drivers poorly- they make you look for your orders on a big rack- which is crazy- all they have to do is answer the call, see our orders- and come to # spot we in. It’s 5:43pm and I am still waiting for my 12 customers orders to deliver in various locations- they don’t care, they do what they want- they create their own protocols.
Very sad customers skills for Walmart’s as we are to be cooperating and working together- instead we a treated like dirt.
The guy keeps going back and forth with everyone else’s orders- including those that came during me writing this -10 review. The one in Fairview in Burlington is worst- that’s how they want to conduct their business-
Very sad

I bought pants yesterday, they were discounted on the tag to $24. When I rang them in, they were $15; even better. I tried them on at home and they are too small. I took them back today to return and they refused. Clearance means final sale! As I was walking back to my car with my useless pants, I rolled my ankle into a pothole in the parking lot. So, now I hurt from my foot to my back. I am NOT happy Walmart!

Can be busy but always lots of free parking. Walmart generally has good prices and sale prices are great. Bought a Keurig dual coffee maker a few weeks ago. Reg price $199 on sale for $99. I love it.

Have been shopping here a long time and always appreciate how clean and well stocked it is. Had to return something the other day and it was done in less than a minute, very impressive.
