Bestbuy have worst return policy for Major Appliances. Be careful of buying major appliance from Bestbuy Canada online or in-store. Their customer service agents tells you the return policy is 30 days but they do not tell you that once appliance is opened from original packaging or installed or used even once they will not accept it as return or refund the money. When you call Bestbuy to return the product their customer service show you online document as a return policy where as their sales person tell you different story about the return policy.
I highly recommend to not to buy any major appliance from this store or online at Bestbuy.ca.

Worst location. Went to the store to return the tv after the third day of purchase and the lady at the entrance denied to do the return. I went to ask another guy and he confirmed that the return is possible so i went to my car and brought the TV in the store and the guy refused because the same lady talked to him thru their intercom and they just made up a story that we will have to check the TV and will take half an hour for them to check. We were willing to wait but they denied. We asked for the manager, a guy named Parkash came and identified himself as a manager and he said it’s going to take a minute to check the tv but because it’s their policy that they cannot return so they won’t do the return. Their own statements contradicted which didn’t make sense at all. When i asked if they’re not willing to do the job because the store is going to close in half an hour, they ignored. Learn to communicate and train your staff better.

I went there to buy a ps5 yesterday and the employees that helped me were super nice and informative. I also appreciated how they assisted/supported the trainee who was behind the cash checking me out. They all had good attitudes and this was near closing time. Thank you!

THE MISSING STOVE
Last Sunday, on the last day of Black Friday, we purchased an LG stove from the Best Buy online site, and we picked up that stove on Monday from Best Buy's Waterloo branch. Despite all our efforts, the stove never worked. We called the LG technical support team and asked for help. Since the stove still wouldn't work, even though we followed all of the technical support's instructions exactly, they told us to return the product. So, we returned it on Tuesday and bought another one, the exact same model, from the Waterloo store. They told us that the product was in the Kitchener branch and that we could pick it up from the Waterloo branch on Thursday, two days later, at any time.
On Thursday, towards the evening, I went to the Waterloo branch to pick up the stove. They searched and inquired for about half an hour but couldn't find where the stove was, which branch it was in, or if it was on the truck for delivery. Then, they took my number and said they would locate the stove's whereabouts and call me as soon as possible. But no one called or informed me.
On Friday morning, I called the Best Buy office and explained the situation. After long phone conversations, they couldn't find where the stove was but told me that I would definitely be able to pick it up from the Waterloo branch sometime today. They said I could go to the Waterloo branch anytime in the afternoon. When I went there in the evening, I faced the same result, and they absolutely couldn't find where the stove was. Just saying they were very sorry doesn't help with cooking food at home without a stove. I had to cancel the product. At the same time, I also missed out on the Black Friday benefits and opportunities.

Best buy, it's been more than two weeks now my stove is broken, you have sent out someone to to see what is the problem, from 11/25 ontill now we haven't heard a thing from anyone, I need to now , we are waiting and still waiting, as per what the guy said by the next day we should get a phone call, still waiting, we pay for that warranty

Store location order online was quick and convienent. As I write this - we are under a snow storm week. I was listed as payer and pick up person but I can't get to store (we live over an hour from the closest Best Buy location). Used the online support via Contact Us. Was told nothing I could do and go pick up. Google says I could cancel my order and re-order it picked up with someone else but I have 2 items on hold and only 1 available in store to start a new order. Chat M who was absolutely useless -told me I have till end of day to pick up and kept re-enfirming this despite explaining situation. Asked if I had to take my business to another store or company to get any assistance and she suggested that would be a better idea.

The geeksquad gal tricked me into changing my phone service but even after repeating it three times she still typed my email address wrong. Now I can't register my account. I can't change my email. And rogers is an awful company who won't work with you even if you roll on the floor to beg them.

and showed me where to go. Pooja and Rayyan helped me get an iPhone 16 Pro with a great deal and plan. They were very friendly, patient, and helpful. I’m really happy with my purchase and the service!

Best Buy Store number 608 in 580 King St North, the employees Rajal S N and Nav, plainly denied the return of a headset that I bought from Best Buy stating that they stopped taking returns even though I was told at the time of purchase that return is possible if the item is not working as expected. I bought this from best buy just a week ago and these two employees were extremely rude and unwelcoming.
