Got my car back on the road!
I wasn't sure if I was going to fix or sell my car so it sat in my driveway for over a year. After diagnosing and discussing the required repairs, the great team at Columbia got it back on the road and performing like new. Finding a repair shop you can trust can be hard so I'll remain a loyal customer based on this and my past experiences!

My old Mazda had a weird intermittent problem that left me stranded a few times. It would magically fix itself during the tows, so it was hard to diagnose, but Jim figured it out. Decades of experience is invaluable for the tricky stuff. The guys at Columbia Auto went above and beyond, took great care of me, and even made me laugh when I was incredibly stressed out. Awesome value for money!

I talked to Jim regarding the paint scuffing and compounding. And he told me that the damage is minor, so I can try to clean it by myself not spending $$$ in the shop. So, I can't comment on the service but I appreciate the honesty. Definitely will come back for any repair in the future!
update here: I ended up visiting them with other problems after this review. The service was okay. Price was quite overpriced but let's just call it premium service - so I won't judge. But the biggest issue was, my car stopped middle of nowhere 2 days after service and I figured out the mechanic didn't properly tighten up my batter cable. Lucky me I know my car and I have a portable jump starter. Never expected such a basic basic mistake after paying such a premium fee... :(

I wouldn’t recommend this shop if you have a Volkswagen.
They had my 2017 Volkswagen Golf for 2.5 weeks, gave my car back to me 3 different times during that period saying it was fixed, only for issues to persist, and me having to immediately bring my car back each time.
After my check engine/EPC light came on once more after being told 3X by Columbia auto pro that my car was fixed, I decided to go directly to the dealership. It took them 1 day to find out my turbo had failed & needed to be replaced (causing my car to struggle to get to speed), as well as a tear on my CV boot that needed to be repaired. They were able to fix and return my car by the next day.
Columbia auto pro also had done an oil change for me but overfilled the oil, so I ended up having to pay for Volkswagen dealership to drain and refill my oil to proper levels.
What I didn’t like about my experience with this auto shop was that instead of admitting that they were unable to find/fix the issue & suggesting I may need to speak directly to the manufacturer of my car, they were willing to continue to keep my car for extended periods of time & charging me money to try fix an issue they couldn’t figure out & were unable to help me with. Although they managed to address some of my cars issues, they also continued to miss others (causing me to have to bring my car back multiple times immediately after it was returned to me “fixed” & why finally decided to go directly to my dealer). I do feel I wasted 2.5 weeks of my time & $2300 with Columbia Autopro only to get my car back continuously unfixed.
So if you have a Volkswagen vehicle, I would not recommend this autopshop.

told me my disc router is rusted，want me to change my four wheel disc router with a total cost of 1800$, and it’s actually not a big deal if drive more.
After canceling the service after 10 minutes, charge me 80 for inspection and 70 for “labour cost”.
The old guy’s conscience is eaten by the dog, don’t ever go there.
