This place is out of everything especially during the items season. I don’t know who plans their inventory.
They’ll be out of breads, eggs on weekend even in afternoon.
Summer time they are out of water softener salt.
Winter time they’ll be out of road salt.
Go to Guelph - Brantford - London - Stoney creek.

The Costco in Waterloo (Erb Street), Ontario has an excellent team. Every time I visit this location, everything remains orderly and well‑managed, even during busy periods. The staff work proactively and efficiently, making this branch the primary shopping destination for my family.
During a recent visit, I was looking for a showerhead and happened to meet an employee named Kiri. Although she appeared to be in the middle of checking inventory, she immediately offered her assistance. She not only helped me locate the item but did so with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude. Her exceptional service made my shopping experience especially pleasant that day.
It is clear that outstanding management contributes to the high standards upheld by this team. I sincerely appreciate the dedication and professionalism demonstrated by the staff at this location.

I love coming here and I have so much fun. They have amazing items at the food court. I love the ice cream and the hotdogs. Honestly, it’s a really nice place. Very clean as well and they have good deals and some samples to nibble on while shopping.

Good place for groceries, medicine and electronics. The food court is a great experience but only lacking Halal options in chicken. I strongly demand for Halal chicken roast so that members from Muslim community can get benefits.

I have been a Costco member for years and have always had positive experiences, which is why today’s incident was so shocking and disappointing. My children were excited about Kirkland Almond Chocolate samples, and I only wanted to make them happy. I intended to take just two chocolates on the paper without touching the chocolates themselves.
Instead, I was treated like a thief and shown security cameras while the employee said, “there are cameras everywhere.” This is completely unnecessary and not normal at all. I would have gladly explained everything, but being treated this way over such a small moment ruined a joyful experience with my children. Even when I returned and said I had been treated like a thief, he! didn't apologize at all. This incident can be reviewed on camera from December 27 between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM.

I'd forgotten that I've been a Costco member since 1991, but on Dec 20, 2025, after standing in a long line @ Waterloo Costco in the hopes that I was within the 30-day grace period after buying something and then finding it had gone on sale, I had the good fortune of getting Liam (young man with curly hair) as my Customer Rep at Returns. He was delightful ... personable and helpful, which is a winning combination. And while I've been a Costco member longer than he's been alive, customer service is one of the key features that keeps me coming back! Thank you, Liam!!
