I have to tell you how much I appreciate Gautam. He helped me a lot that he could within and beyond his power. I booked online for tire replacement, to my surprise Tire that I want to get installed were partially delivered. He explained everything and made sure that I got my tire replaced in a timely manner. Really appreciate the help from Gautam and his manager.

I ordered winter rims and tires on December 2, was told they didn’t have the rims in stock but they would be in on December 12. Made an appointment for December 13 to have them installed. I got a reminder text in the afternoon of December 12 about my appointment the next day. I get a phone call that night at 6:45pm saying they are still waiting for 2 rims to come from BC and the other 2 rims to come from Alberta, neither of which has left their respective warehouses yet. The guy I was talking to that called me saying they were still across Canada said he would phone me the next day and let me know what’s going on…….. no call from him. It almost seems like he had a buddy that just so happened to need the same size rims and tires I needed (they are a very common size) and sold them out from under me. Now I’m scrambling to find winter rims and tires. What a waste of my time waiting for something that was supposed to be ordered almost 2 weeks prior, which still hasn’t even left their respective warehouses yet. I have spent thousands on tires there in the past, and was about to drop almost 2 thousand there again. Zero stars, would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Buying my tires from them 2 years ago was easy, they rotate them for free. I had a slow leak and they repaired it for free as well, which was great. My most recent rotation, I was told my inner and outer tie rods needed to be replaced and was quoted $640 for the repair. Went to another mechanic to get their quote, and they told me absolutely nothing is wrong with my tie rods.

They're not doing work on cars with lift kits or other enhancements, a policy that should be revised. Many car enhancements are actually strengthening the structure of a car rather than male it "dangerous"

Amazing since the first visit. Staff is friendly, helpful and carefully explains what will be done as well as all the results. The online report with all the details and photos is incredible. It's a honest business with fair prices, good products and an amazing staff. What else could you ask for?

Kal Tire Waterloo = 10/10 Customer Service!
Sri (assistant manager) completely resolved a nagging balancing issue with a set of winter tires by calling the tire manufacturer and getting them replaced in warranty with the latest model.
Don't waste time going to any other tire shop in the Waterloo Region!

Had a nail in one of the tires. Managed to get to the shop right before the closing time. Sri (assistant manager) was very accommodating even though it’s was time for them to wrap things up and most of the tech were either gone or busy with an existing job. To top it off, they waived any charges as well!

Checked in at 8:20 am
Agreed to pickup at 4pm.
Anything else will call.
But 4pm,I saw my car still parking there no move .
Then one guy went driving my car , seems to the garage? But parkrd beside the building.
We went in to the desk.
Did not get tire repair.
They just want replace new tire, said that called me 11 times, but no any call I got.
Wasted one day. No car to drive tomorrow.
Bad service, bad communication, especially.....
If you think my tire tore up cannot repair, why don't check and tell me when checking it in the morning????? That is waste time...... Even these tires have to replace soon, we need time, money, book appointments etc.....
Got Kal tire call 5 pm twice. I guess they might recorded wrong number this morning,then missed phone. But they call my number after my complaints. Wanted us to back to do something in 20 minutes.....repair?
Your service getting worse and worse Year by year.

I used to have nothing but praise for this location. Manager Tiffany was always incredibly polite and helpful but repeated issues over the past few years have forced me to switch to another repair shop.
Issues include:
1) failing to repair a major part properly, resulting in my car needing to be towed twice (same issue) and putting my life in danger twice in the process and then simply making the excuse that it was a small part and inside a shaft. While that's a nice little sentiment, it is your responsibility to know how to complete the repair properly when customers bring you their cars to fix or to direct them to where to repair if you cannot.
2) simply clearing an issue code and not actually fixing the issue. And when I brought the car back to point out that the light came on again almost immediately it was the service manager who piped in saying "maybe it is this_______" and the only thing they did was not charge me to check the issue out again.
3) doing a repair without getting approval. I was only made aware of it being done when I came to pick up the car after other things had been fixed. No communication of the additional issue or the cost.
I just want to say that I loathe leaving negative reviews but after repeated problems I just cannot forgive them enough to go back.
