I had my car (Mercedes C250 2013) breakdown early in the morning due to an issue with a belt getting work off and some other part which needed to be replaced. It was early in the morning and the only auto shop I could see from where my car stopped was Mat's Auto. Lucky for me I guess .. Mat helped diagnose the issue and since I live quite a far distance from his shop and my car was not drivable, he arranged for parts and got the car fixed as fast he could. Since I was stuck, he allowed me to use his WiFi and continue working .. Thanks for that. Cost to fix was very reasonable even though he could have charged me through the nose and I would not have had an option .. grateful for that. Thanks.

Mats is so nice, he did the diagnosis of my car with very tight steering wheel problem and lubricate for free.

They helped me with my car issues, gave good advice and offered very reasonable rates. I have had 3 very good experiences at Mat’s Auto. It was a similar feeling to being looked after by a family member.

If I could give mats auto a zero star a would learn from my experience save your money and stay away, my husband and I were recommended to mats auto we went in to have the brakes on our car replaced, we left mats with no issues as we trusted the work was completed and done correctly, however after a few months my husband noticed his brakes were making noise and rubbing we contacted another mechanic who looked at the car and assured us there was absolutely no way the brakes had been done a few months prior we contacted mats auto so they could rectify the situation only after basically arguing on the phone did they agree to look at the car, we took the car in again had them “re-do” the brakes and went on our way, took it back to same machine who told us it couldn’t have been done and again we need all brakes replaced, it’s so unfortunate when you spend so much money on having your car fixed that it’s not done correctly and they don’t seem to care I wish we would have never stepped foot in Mats auto and saved our money. I have taken my car to see Mat before and he was great! I even recommended several people to see him. But then everything changed. We needed a new to us vehicle and found one that needed work and to get a safety. Mat looked at the vehicle and said if it was him he wouldn't keep the vehicle because of the work it needed, which I respected his honesty. However, we decided to start the process and get some more accurate quotes on all the work he would need to do, along with the body work (He had to get a body shop guy come by to look at it because he does not do body work, which is understandable). Car was dropped off and 1 week passed without hearing anything so I called and the other staff member said it would be best if I come talk to Mat directly. So I popped in the same day to talk to Mat and he said the body shop guy would be coming the following Monday, which at that point would have been 2 weeks of the car sitting on his lot. I was patient and understanding given that it was tire season. Monday came and went, we didn't hear anything. I called on the Tuesday morning and he said rudely that he had no update for me and the guy couldn't come by. He said the body shop guy MIGHT be able to come sometime this week. I asked for him to provide me with a day, he said Wednesday, maybe Thursday. I told him we would wait till Thursday, but if we don't have a quote we would take the car somewhere else. Thursday afternoon I called to find out and no one came from the body shop and still no quote from him. So at that point we made the decision to pull the car out and give our money to another mechanic who respects our time and we already have an appointment to get work done this afternoon at 1pm. When we went to pick up the car Mat didn't even have the decency to apologize or even come talk to us face to face. HORRIBLE customer service! I thought we would pay you to do the work instead of a different mechanic, but if you didn't want to do the work you should have said something instead of wasting our time.

I’ve used this shop multiple times for things for all my vehicles, from old vws to new trucks. Honest quick and doesn’t try to upsell or offer services that are not required. Offers options and advice when it comes to your vehicles.

I am very lucky to have found and bought my used vehicle at Mat's Auto. It was a well maintained vehicle, sold for a reasonable price. I was impressed with the quick efficient process of the sale and that it was provided with excellent customer service. I highly recommend adding Mat's to your list of potentials to buy from if you're looking to buy a used vehicle. I was also able to buy a reasonable priced set of winter tires on rims from him. The 5 stars were well earned.
