I had a very disappointing experience dealing with Jacob and this dealership. I live a bit far and was genuinely interested in purchasing a vehicle, but instead of being supported, I was treated with disrespect.
Jacob was unhelpful, gave me a hard time for no valid reason, and did not even pass my phone call or details to the manager as requested. I felt dismissed and not taken seriously as a customer. It came across as poor communication and lack of basic professionalism.
Distance should not be a reason to treat a serious buyer poorly. I expected transparency and respect, but that was not delivered. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership

Schlueter Hyundai in Waterloo is a dealership that operates with integrity, reliability and workmanship as well as excellent products.
While looking for a vehicle I did my research, contacted and then visited several car dealerships within the KW and Guelph area.
The staff at Schlueter Hyundai (Percy) came in on his day off and stayed late one day to meet with us. He showed us several models used and new within our price tag. After visiting other dealerships we purchased our car from Schlueter’s due to the staff’s experience, knowledge and patience.
We went to another Hyundai in the area and when the manger heard our price range he actually came over to meet us and I felt actually mocked us for wanting a vehicle in that price range.
Even after we purchased the vehicle, which we love we had a few questions. Several weeks later we returned and this time we met with Jacob. Again he was patient, knowledgeable. He gave us his card and encouraged us to call, visit or text anytime.
I was impressed with the exceptional customer service I received during the purchasing process.

Bought a car recently and worked with Kevin Kauk at Schleuter Hyundai—couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Kevin made the whole process easy, straightforward, and zero pressure. Super knowledgeable, answered every question, and genuinely wanted to make sure I ended up in the right vehicle.
On top of being a great salesperson, he’s just a solid guy who cares about doing things the right way. Highly recommend working with him if you’re in the market for a Hyundai.

I had an emergency today with a noise in the Tucson's right rear. With Christmas travel coming up, I was worried. I went for my first service department visit. They squeezed me in, solved my tire problem, and only charged me a tiny amount. What I didn't expect was my car was washed! Santa lives.
Plus, my car salesman (Brent), saw me, remember ed me, and stopped by for a chat.
All feels good.

Posting here my first negative review ever: I took my car in last week for Schlueter to apply recall fixes. The garage called to let me know my tire was flat and needed to be fixed at a price over $100. I said we will fill it on arrival and fix it ourselves. Turned out the tire was never flat. Hyundai already fails to compensate for the time and expense for the customer to come to your service centre for the recall fixes. Schleuter then tries to make a bogus sale in the process? That is really poor business. Hope Schleuter moves forward with better integrity and professionalism in future.

I had an opportunity to meet Justin A. and Tre P. Initial contact via email was with Tre. In person visit occurred with Justin.
Justin was profession and personable. He was honest. As I was somewhat distracted by details, I forgot to test the 4wd system of the vehicle. Before we ended the test drive, he kindly showed me how it worked and that it actually works. Furthermore, although their service dept was closed, he was able to get permission for the vehicle to be moved into a drier and warmer location (it was slushy outside) in the service bay, so that I had a chance to check out the vehicle. This was much appreciated.
I met Tre in person when I took delivery of the vehicle. He was professional and was able to answer some questions. He gave me a chance to have a good detailed look at the vehicle before taking delivery.
Overall, a very positive experience at Schlueter Hyundai.

Today December 11, 2025 I stopped by Schlueter Hyundai for my small problem about my 2019 Sonata Sport's electronic problem with my FOB. Ethan Senior Service Adviser was very helpful and solved the problem with knowledge and professionalizm I was impressed and really appriciated him. Even he introduced me to sales consultant Brent I took a new Sonata 2026 Hybrid for test drive It was impressive I think spring time I may return to buy one.

Justin Anderson is extremely gregarious and he is solely the reason why I took the chance driving over an hour away from my home to visit Schlueter Hyundai for the first time. Since my very first call that morning with Justin I felt confident that I was dealing with someone who is ethical, competent and honest which led the way to me buying the vehicle only 3 hours the very same day. When the process is this seamless and stress free I know that this was the best possible deal for me!

I had a very poor experience with the service department. My oil wasn’t changed, which is why they didn’t put a new sticker on my car, and the other issues I reported were not addressed at all.
One month after the service, my car overheated while I was driving home. When I called the service department, they said it was the weekend and they couldn’t look at my car because the department was closed, and I also could not get an appointment.
I am now stuck and helpless without my car. Overall, just a completely disappointing and pathetic service experience.

One of the worst service centre , I visited here for a recall on car early this year and after waiting for 3 hours for the recall repair, I got told they don’t have the part for the repair and they have to order it and it took them 6 months to get that part and I got called and visited there today hoping it will get fixed today but even today after waiting for more than 2 hours I got told they don’t t have another part and they have to order it again. What a joke this service centre is
