Was at this location a few days ago. Hardly any milk and the milk cooler smelled like sour milk. Low stock on everything and a very messy store. Staff are not friendly. Prices expensive compared to other grocery stores. Some products were close to expiring.

Will watch you scan all your items. then proceed to accuse you of steeling and rip the recipt out of your hands. Just to be proven that everything was paid for.
The absolutely worst customer service going. this has become ridiculous.

I needed a grocery item that was on sale that my usual store was out of so I called ahead before making the drive. They put me on hold and seem like they are actually checking if they have the item and ensure me they do, and then I get there and they are completely sold out of even similar items

I never thought that I’d have to leave such a horrible review but here we are. Last week, my 4 year old daughter and I came to Walmart to do some shopping for the house. We went to the self checkout and everything was going normally until my card declined which is fine because everything is so expensive these days. So I called over an associate and I let her know professionally that I’m unable to get all my stuff at this time, how can I make this process easier for you? She gave me a look basically saying that I’ve inconvenienced her whole life. She was like well you can unpack your bags and put them in the cart. I said okay sounds great. After talking to my husband on the phone he said there’s X amount in the account because he hasn’t gone to the bank yet. We cancelled the original transaction and a receipt printed out. I asked the associate if I can give her the receipt because I don’t want to make a mess. She took the receipt and put it in the coupon slot on my self checkout machine. I let the associate know that I can actually grab a few of these items. I asked the associate She’s like well you’re going to have to scan them yourself and I’m like of course I wasn’t going to ask you to scan them for me since we are at the self checkout. So I scanned and paid for my items all while my 4 year old is asking me what’s going on and why can’t we get everything. Truly heartbreaking moment as a mother. After paying for my items, and putting them to the side of the self checkout machine since I offered my shopping cart for them to use to smoothly be able to put the other items back on the shelves, the associate asked me if my blue Walmart bags were mine? I was like yes they are mine, you can see they have old receipts in them and I literally opened the bag to show her. This obviously made me feel like a thief because since my card declined she was watching every move I made. She had no emotions whatsoever. Then I asked her so I have a case of water, a box of pull ups, and a few other things plus my 4 year old. Would it be possible if I can either leave the stuff here so I can go grab another shopping cart or what should I do? She literally gave me the small pull on basket and said I can put my stuff in here. Seriously? I have my child with me and heavy items. In my 7 years of retail and customer service, I would have never ever made a customer feel like a thief because their card declined. It doesn’t end there, after she gave me the basket, I had two tiny old receipts in my hand and I didn’t want to throw them on the floor or anything so I just put it in the coupon slot that she put the cancelled receipt in a few mins before. As soon as I did that, the associate said, what did you just put in there? I said tiny receipts that I just wanted to throw away as I saw you do the same. She’s like well I have to get my manager now, you can take your stuff. I’m like okay can I go home? The lady beside me literally laughed because of how much this associate was holding my daughter and I hostage. The associate said yes you can go home. I left the store feeling completely abused, embarrassed, and upset. Never in my life have I ever stolen anything or was made feel like a thief due to not having enough money for something. I won’t stop coming back to this Walmart but as soon as I get that associate’s name - I will make a report or something so she knows how she handled the situation was wrong. Prior to this incident, I’d see her working at the self checkout section and I’d always smile and say hello. I’m never the kind of customer that doesn’t greet the employees. Not anymore, I will make sure with my facial expressions that she knows that what she did was wrong every time I come in. But if you can just avoid this Walmart because the customer service is extremely poor.

South Asian employees... Please please PLEASE bathe yourselves and put some deodorant. I cannot get rid of that lingering smell all the way to the parking lot. Also, English (or French) is the official language to speak among your colleagues.

Costumer service is the worst, there is not enough employees and employees are careless, especially technology department ones. Also they will ask you for receipt even if you buy in front of them, they asked me TWICE. ( self checkout )

I had a disappointing experience at Walmart today when my very pregnant sister tried to exchange multiple boxes of diapers. Despite confirming the diapers were purchased there, the manager at the customer service desk only allowed the exchange of one box and was noticeably disrespectful.
Such poor treatment of customers, especially those in vulnerable situations, is unacceptable. Walmart should re-train their staff on proper customer service and empathy. This behavior is damaging to the store’s reputation and discourages repeat business.

The worst Walmart with the rudest costumer service staff. I went there to exchange a box of diapers and a rocking chair I got from my baby shower I got doubles from and these people were so rude to me for no reason saying these are Walmart products but they can only do one exchange without a receipt. The explanation made no sense what so ever went to the Walmart on fairway road in Kitchener and had no issues exchanging the items and they were super kind! Will never be returning to this Walmart get better staff and managers. Ridiculous.

Having items in stock is a huge problem at this location. Hire someone who can read and write English and can order the GD items needed to stock your shelves. FN hate this location ?
