My mom purchased our family car from this dealership brand new & has only gotten it serviced here, tens of thousands of dollars have been spent in this establishment. I got into a minor accident in May that resulted in no body damage but needed major repairs for the underneath of our car including a new steering rack. The car part was on back order for months (annoying but understandable) & only came back into stock a couple weeks ago. For almost 6 months my car was at Honda with multiple delays between insurance & service. My insurance luckily had rental coverage (which obviously ran out) & my advisor had an agreement with Honda to provide me a rental after my coverage finished. For some reason it took them several days to arrange that with constant back & forth communication & resulted in me having to pay $200 out of pocket for a rental, whatever. For months I had to reach out for updates because they were never reaching out to me & finally on Monday 10/21 I was told the backordered part was in & my car was expected to be finished the next day, Tuesday 10/22. I did not get a call until the afternoon of Friday 10/25 to be told that my car is fixed! But they are unable to do a test drive to see if everything is okay since my car was sitting for months & now my battery & all 4 brakes need to be replaced due to corrosion/rust & they will need to see if insurance can cover it or not, also my rental needs to be returned the following Monday because “Honda Canada has done their due diligence with providing you with a rental car until the part came in & the work is completed” even though I am now left with a non-functioning car. This was absolutely the last straw. My mother passed a coupled months ago & I told them I was dealing with everything that came with that so I did not need additional issues regarding the car. Complete negligence & unaccountability on their part because surely they would of known of the additional problems earlier & if they know this is an issue that happens when cars sit for a long time, why did no one mention it or advise us about the possibility of this happening? Why did no one check on the car periodically & why was there no proactive steps taken to remedy the situation AT THE BEGINNING OF THE WEEK rather than 3pm on Friday? As a woman who does not know much about cars I felt completely disrespected & taken advantage of, especially since we are long time customers. I asked to speak to a manager & they would not let me, I said I need concrete arrangements for a car on Monday if the work was not completed & they refused to make any promises. It wasn’t until I went there myself on Saturday to try to speak to a manager & only the sales manager was in, who has nothing to do with this, & after yelling at him he promised to provide me with a car on Monday if repairs are not done. I had to miss work & come back Monday afternoon only to find my car in the same position it was in on Saturday with none of the additional work started & of course no one called to update me. I towed my car out of there & took it to another local repair shop who had it diagnosed & fixed in 2 days — with several more issues discovered that Honda never told me about. In fact, my mechanic called to asked what exactly happened because the car was not performing how a car with 80k km should be performing, after Honda assured me the repairs they did “make it look like this car was never driven”. I will never be returning to this establishment & I suggest everyone take caution before purchasing a car or getting repairs done here.

Can't even get anyone in the service department on the phone without leaving a message for a question. Only gives you random people to contact which is stupid when all you wanna do is talk to ANYONE WHO CAN ACTUALLY ANSWER THE QUESTION. Calling+++ TIMES and getting transferred and then being hung up on is great customer service.

I do not even know where to start. I have never been this dissatisfied with any customer service I have ever had. Everything has been beyond pathetic from Waterloo Honda, from basic manners, waiting time, and the service provided.
I had to take my car three times for AC servicing last year, and even then, my AC did not work. This year, when I again took my car for the fourth time, the service advisor Toma offered me the most pathetic customer service. I had to wait for at least 7 months to get the service done. Now as the weather is cooler, I don't even need the AC so I don't know what was the even point of service now. I have again and again paid for the diagnostics fees and parts fees for the same issue and concern over and over. There have been times when I booked an appointment for service and then I was told that I need to go back home as the parts are not available. I have taken so many days off from work and have faced so many losses in compensation because of Waterloo Honda's poor management. Even after suffering so much, I had to pay for the service and parts. All of this is beyond ethics and a good conscience from Waterloo Honda.

I had a fantastic experience at this dealership. Steven was great to work with – he was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. Natasha was equally impressive; she took the time to walk through every detail thoughtfully, ensuring I had no uncertainties by the end. Overall, it was a great experience with a team that truly cares about their customers. Highly recommend this dealership!

To say you waved diagnostic and labour cost is crazy. You may have waved these for the work done recently but given the fact the the work and diagnostic was undeed is very big of you and should never be charged. What about the diagnostic and labor that we have paid sense we have had the problem that never solved or corrected the issue!!!!
As can be seen from the numerous negative reviews recently calling out Waterloo Hondas poor service and ability to fix issues is very concerning.
This is very new for them and seems to coincide with recent change in management. Previously they tried to address issues and to make it right, something that present management is unwilling to look at or consider. SHAME!!!!

We have been a long term customer of Waterloo Honda started in 2012, we have purchased two vhicles with all of our work done there and generally the service has been OK. Sense 2022 have had issues with car starting. It would work then not work very unreliable. Had car in numerous times and dealt with Toma who always said can not find an issue and always charged a fee for diagnostic work that could not find problem. In January 2024 finally said the problem is getting worse. Toma finally says it's the starter and replaced it $1300 and numerous previous diagnostic $1000 before that.
February same issue comes up for or the next 3 months. April take it in Toma says again can not find a problem and charges for diagnostic work.
Finally in June could not get car to start at all so towed in. They had the car 5 days with out looking at it as we did not have booked appointment. Finally 5th day Toma says it's starter again and we replaces it no charge under warranty. Go out to start car won't start !!! Toma says don't know will get tech to look again. With in an hour tell me problem is ground wire and it's fixed. What about 2 starters that did not need replacing and all the other charges when you could not locate problem!!
Spoke to new GM Mitch and tell him not happy we paid over $2500 for work not need. He says will get us taken care of next time in for service.
Next time speak to him says will give us 10% off work order about $50.
Needless to say not at all happy out of pocket over $2500 for there incompetence!!!!
Again Mitch says all he is willing to do not his problem.
New GM Mitch has no perspective of loyalty or long term customer relationship.
We were going to purchase another vehicle is 2025 with them but given the dealers new view of customers loyalty not go back.
Never again!!!

Bought a used car last week has I think water leaking and a light out no one calls you back all you get is answering machine leave messages and still no one calls you back they just want to make sales on good or bad cars been a long time customer this is how they treat you I do not recommend Honda
