This was the same company that was under the name Mega wire.. Avoid them, work with another company that will actually provide you with the service you pay for. The way the manage their customers issues, and try to address things is less than subpar. Keep looking for another service provider- you would be better off tethering from your phone.....

Always slow on a good day but is unusable for the majority of the day. It is 2023 and yet this company still can’t provide a useable internet service.

Always great customer service. If there is an issue, I know they will fix it. A bit more expensive than Bell but worth it for the customer service. I have been with them for 5 years. Bell has come by twice now with offers for their new point to point internet but I'm happy with Waterloo Wireless/ Megawire.

So send them an email two weeks ago asking to turn on our internet at our seasonal site and if that they could please acknowledge and let me know they got it. Never heard back so I figured I would call them today at 6:15 to speak to an agent to confirm that they will have by the weekend. I got a voice recording saying that the office is closed but that same recording said they're open till 7:00 p.m. as does their website.Makes you wonder when the company can't handle the the basics, how do they run the rest of the business? I guess the answer lies in their Google reviews rating.

The internet keeps going down on weekends and there is no weekend service. If you have any other options for internet, take the other one..

Worst internet on the market avoid at all cost I don’t know how this company is still in business they provide an unusable service and if you complain about the speeds that’s if you get a hold of them they will boost your internet for temporary than they slow you right back down again. Also there prices are a scam $100 a month for 5mbps which is actually 2.5mbps and when it’s not slow it’s not working. This company should be ashamed of their pathetic attempt at internet service

After 4 years of nothing but problems, we were finally able to cancel our service with this wireless provider... Even after almost 2 months of canceling with Waterloo wireless and several attempts of calling and leaving messages to please call me back, I've had no response! we are still waiting for them to come our home and remove the antenna that is still on our roof.Disappointed!

Horrible. Our internet was down for 2 days before they let us know they can no longer serve our area. Every single alternative they offered did not even service our area. It's insane that they don't have any way to repair their tower or any back up options.. What kind of 2 bit operation is this? Now the only way I can connect remotely to my work is by paying Telus $25 dollars per 500mb in 2021... Go CanadaEdit: Thought I should mention we are a 10 minute drive from downtown Waterloo... We aren't even in that rural of an area

We just moved to a rural area and have had excellent customer service with Waterloo Wireless. We fired up Netflix right away and so far no issues! I’ll see how working from home is later in the week - but this is by far the nicest ISP team I’ve ever had to deal with :)

We didn't even get to become a customer with this company. Ill save you the long and short but lied about time frame of site survey and then when you call to see what is going on your told they are busy and basically don't have time for you. If you start a relationship like that I can only imagine if a issue arises what the outcome with would.Save yourself the head ache and time and use someone else.

3 years great reception, this year very spotty , service dept have tried to fix the prob. Good people to deal with however.

Only a customer because limited options available. Internet is ok, not the best. It’s Way worse than they promise, but it functions. Usually sit at 1.8 MB as opposed to 5 MB they promise. Goes out every couple days and good luck if it does. Their phones are shut off and rarely respond to emails.

Quite possibly the worst wifi you can get. If it’s not down, it’s running slow. It seems I’m needing to call weekly to find answers on why my wifi is running slow then they make temporary fixes that don’t last. There is an upside to Waterloo wireless and it is definitely the service.
