About Lakeview Hotel
Lakeview Hotel is a hidden gem in Northern Ontario, conveniently placed in Wawa close to shops, restaurants, and other services. It is a highly recommended must-stop for travelers passing through the Lake Superior region, often noted as the best priced or most affordable hotel in town. The hotel offers lots of rooms, which are described as cozy, clean, nice, well maintained, and updated, especially in the newer detached section. Despite a front area or exterior that can appear a bit dated or run down, the interior is a pleasant surprise. The staff and management are super friendly, genuinely kind, welcoming, courteous, and helpful. The hotel features the only pub in town, Woody's Pub, which is not to be missed for dinner and a beer, and the food is very good. Free coffee is offered in the mornings. Rooms facing Lake Wawa provide a very nice view that is absolutely worth it, making the hotel a favorite choice for repeat visits throughout both summer and winter.
This place is fantastic if travelling through the lake superior region. Tina at the front desk was so welcoming and a pleasure to chat with. Its winter but my view of lake Wawa still very nice. I recommend stopping into woodys pub for dinner and a beer. Friendly staff and locals
