After hours on the phone multiple days I'm told because we pay extra for outdoor coverage they won't cover any interior work even though it's part of the base policy. Agents were intentionally unhelpful and refused to even look at my policy and unable to reference any point they tried to make. Meanwhile i directed them in my contract and was ignored then told escalation would reach out to me. They did half to be fair but still charged a deductible that was supposed to be waived

The lady was not helpful, while asking questions it felt like an immediate no to everything. Deffinatly felt intimated by her and very unhappy that she sent us on our way with nothing. Asking questions felt like it was too much for her to even answer. Won’t be going back.
No trip was booked that day, going to a different agency. :/

I wanted to take a moment to personally thank Penny from the Welland branch for her exceptional service during my recent interaction with CAA. I've interacted with customer service representatives in the past, but the level of care, professionalism, and understanding you displayed truly stood out.
Penny, your patience, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond to resolve my issue was sincerely appreciated. I was especially impressed by how clearly you communicated the steps involved and your proactive follow-up to ensure everything was handled smoothly. It's rare to come across someone as dedicated and empathetic as you, and I felt truly valued as a customer.
Thank you again for making what could have been a stressful situation so much easier to navigate.
CAA is fortunate to have someone like Penny on their team, and I wanted to make sure your efforts didn't go unnoticed.

We just bought a house got insurance changed it as it was too expensive. We went through Scoops Ins. They gave us car and home insurance from CAA it was 150.00 different from desjardin . We switched but now Caa is raising the home insurance by 96.00 and forcing us to replace our cast iron plumbing . They are saying it’s too old . It’s 6 feet of cast iron the rest is plastic . Caa is a horrible company for home insurance . If it’s not done they will cancel the policy. Horrible customer care and service . We don’t have the monies to fix it right now and they truly do not care . DO NOT USE CAA INSURANCE.

Today I sat with Inara to get a quote for both car and home insurance. She was good enough to take me despite being closer to closing time. She was thorough, kind, informative and transparent , taking the time to ensure I understood the policies and at no time did I feel rushed or pressured. The rates were great - especially with a membership, and her sense of humour made the process feel much less dry! No idea if they get points for leads or sign ups, but if they do I specifically would aim to support her :) I hate paying for insurance, but hey - the experience was over all lovely!
