I would give zero if there was an option. I was shopping at Welland location today November 16, 2023 and was very rudely treated by one of the employee named Kass. I was exchanging the wallet and she did as a refund and then charged me again for it. When I looked at my receipt I realized the mistake and I let her know what just happened. She was very disrespectful. Waiting for a while and realizing that she has no idea.... I was trying to explain to her again. She yelled at me wording STOP TALKING AND LET ME READ THIS. After that I did not say anything since I did not want to make a scene. Then she was doing something on the screen and told me to swipe my credit card. I did and she said, it is done, have a nice day and was walking away. I asked for the receipt and she answered that it did not go through. She was trying to dismiss me knowing that I did not get the credit. Finally, my item was credited and I received the receipt. When I took the receipt I was wlking away from her and looking at the receipt to make sure it is a credit not a debit like before and she yelled very loudly YOU WELCOME. This was the most humiliating shopping experience in my life. I enjoyed shopping there and now I do not think I can go back after how embarrassed she made me feel.

This is my favorite Value Village in the Niagara area. Large store. Tons of clothes, brand names and decent quality. Great selection of electronics, craft items and general household items. Their jewelry section is also great

Find always something good or something that's a bargain.. but lately I find selection is not more to my liking or which I am in need ofI am interested in seeing what comes up after the Halloween season and see what they put out on the sales floor... Hopefully more non-traditional holiday stuff...... More every day

Basic value villiage. WAY over priced. Clean, easy to get around. Halloween is fully shelved. Nothing new. ( Picture is random from a past visit of a broken piggy bank for $5.99

Lots of variety, good book and toy section. Clothing prices on the high side. I could buy some of the clothing new at the prices tagged. Overall, clean and nicely set up. No changing rooms.

Very over priced. Tons for Dollarama items that are first of all, used and secondly marked up 3-4x the amount.Hand bags are pretty over priced at this location same with most of the art work.Good selection of kids books.

This store has seen an increase in what they charge for items that have largely been donated to them. They are still reasonably priced but definitely they charge more than they did a few years ago. Selection varies on what they have been given but they have a large cross section of just about everything from housewares, electronics and clothing. It's a great place to shop for Halloween costumes for sure.

Everything in the store is over priced. It's getting ridiculous at this point. This Ziploc Cleary shows that it's $1.25 (From Dollarama) but they priced it for $3.99. it's the same thing with a lot of other things in the store the original price of the items are always cheaper than the value village price.

Value Village is a thrift store that provides a unique shopping experience for bargain hunters. With its wide selection of second-hand items, from clothing to household goods, it offers great value for your money. The store's affordable prices and occasional hidden treasures make it a popular destination for those seeking budget-friendly finds. While some areas of organization could be improved, the overall shopping experience at Value Village deserves a solid 4-star rating for its value and variety.

The only reason I'm giving three stars instead of two is because I noticed they now have security guards. This was desperately needed, not just from an LP perspective but from a safety aspect.I used to love going to Value Village frequently, but with the outrageous and laughable prices as well as fitting rooms being removed from all stores it's just not worth it.Also to note, the exchange policy is atrocious.I understand and accept not being able to get a refund via cash, debit or credit card for a purchase. But exchange only, not even store credit?I would be much more likely to spend more time and money in the store if I could return to a gift card. Not everyone has the time or transportation to go home and try things on, come back within 14 days and find something that day of equal value to exchange it with. Also, the associate working the self checkout area....Friendly individual, but in the nicest way I can possibly say this, I don't think they've ever been introduced to deodorant. It was beyond foul.

Better than the other Value Villages in the region but not by much. Prices can be crazy but tend to have the best luck here. Men's shoes usually aren't that bad.

Value Village in Welland is an absolute gem of a thrift shop! The prices are super affordable, and the selection of clothing and household items is always changing, so there's always something new to discover. The staff is friendly and always willing to help if you need it. Overall, if you're looking for some great bargains and a fun shopping experience, Value Village in Welland is definitely worth checking out!

I love this Value Village. It has some great finds, unfortunately many items are severely over priced. They take some items that are clearly a set and price individually which is absurd. If I want a set of 4 glasses, it would be nice to purchase them as a set without someone taking 1 and ruining that set. Also, spending 9.99 on a pitcher and a subsequent 2-4.99 per glass when the set is originally $8.00 new??
