Went here recently and the staff were so rude, and the produce was very gross everything was rotten or wilted the self checkout staff kept getting mad at me because the stupid machine thought I was stealing....don't know how that's my fault and acted like I was a criminal because I scanned 2 of one soda instead of both (I didn't think it was a big deal) they could have just explained but instead said I was practically stealing and I'm the reason the prices go up. When I was leaving I saw some cute pjs in a bin I didn't touch it nor was I going to grab it but the lady very rudely said don't touch that that's the stuff people stole....I'm like ok I wasn't going to touch anything just thought it was cute. Look I work retail too I get it people steal and it sucks but I don't take it out on every customer that comes in. Definitely won't be back

I'm not a fan of the Walmart chain. However this has been the best Walmart experience I've ever had. The store and restroom were clean. The staff and cashiers were helpful and friendly. Of course, the exchange into American dollars saved me some money. Win-win. Some nice Canadian sports attire, I bought a hoodie jacket that looks warm and stylish.Afterthought -- check out the dollar stores for detergents. Walmart prices are actually hire for namebrand detergents and house cleaning products.

Coming from the US, I was not sure what to expect, but thevWalmsrt in Welland was more than I expected. The staff was nice, the store was really clean and organized. It was super close to my hotel and the quality of clothes better than the Walmarts across the border.

Walmart employees sucks , a turban guy “sukhmeet” works there is really so cheap . He makes people to never visit walmart again. His attitude really doesn’t suit on his job and his unhygienic personality. We ask him for help and he started making fun of us which is really not acceptable by a walmart employee… so disrespectful and disappointing.

I'm not a fan of the Walmart chain. However this has been the best Walmart experience I've ever had. The store and restroom were clean. The staff and cashiers were helpful and friendly. Some nice Canadian sports attire, I bought a hoodie jacket that looks warm and stylish.After thought - Walmart prices are not the cheapest for all things. Quite surprising, namebrand, detergents here cost several dollars more than the dollar store. Check out Dollarama for such things first.

On Friday September 1st, my boyfriend and I were in the cat litter section and we weren't sure which cat litter was which price. An African American woman came out of the employees only doors. We motioned her over and she said in a rushed tone "What do you want?" My boyfriend asked her which cat litter was what price and she told us the wrong price. The wrong price wasn't what we were upset with. Employees should leave their problems at home. I understand everyone has bad days, but please do better.

I shopped at this Welland Walmart store on September 6/2023 and I had a very unpleasant experience. The staff managing the self-checkout points at that store are rude in general, but this time the experience made me write this review to raise awareness to other shoppers and hopefully to some managerial staff that could intervene and put things in order there. The assistant that was managing the checkout island where I was paying was quite rude when I asked her something related to the price on one of my items. From her chair and in a loud and condescending voice she told me what to do and I did it, but I did not like her manners at all. I found her to be patronizing and unprofessional. I paid and walked towards the exit, when another assistant from the next checkout island was yelling rudely at an elderly man whose machine prompted the need for assistance. He was looking around hoping to see someone from the store who could help him. The checkout assistant came towards him yelling that he should look in her direction when she is talking to him. The man looked confused and embarrassed, not understanding what he had done to deserve such behavior from the staff, when all he was doing was to look around for some help. Walmart management should be doing something about their staff's rudeness because this is unacceptable. Walmart staff should show some respect and gratitude towards shoppers because after all, the store exists due to the shoppers.

I shopped at the Welland Walmart store #3110 at 102 Primeway Dr, yesterday September 6/2023 and I had a very unpleasant experience. Purchase a PS.5 for my boys, customer service was excellent, clean welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff.Price was good and so far it’s working perfectly fine.I will most certainly recommend and return for a few household items that captured my eyes.

If I could leave a 0 I would. Waited 45 minutes and had staff page someone to come to the furniture department 5 (not exaggerating) times so I could spend 400$, left spending nothing because no one ever showed up and “customer service” didn’t even file my complaint about it. Pathetic.

Everyone who works here are so miserable. No customer service and the store is a mess. It's so uncomfortable to go into. Unfortunately it's close to me and has things I need, but if I can avoid I will. I mentally prepare myself for the depression you feel after going there. Wow.

I do not support them closing early. Living in Port with all the grocery stores closing at 9:00, Walmart was the only place I could shop after work. Closing at 10:00 makes it almost impossible to shop on a weekday anymore.

The online pickup at this location has gone completely down hill. They don’t even answer the phone when you call to let them know you are there.
