Dishonest practice and zero accountability
I visited this gas station (-30 Talbot Rd W, Wheatley, ON N0P 2P0) and asked the cashier to put $20 on pump #1. I paid using my bank card, Air Miles, and CAA, and I was given a receipt. My tank was nearly full, so only about $15 of gas was pumped. The remaining $5 was never refunded to my account.
I tried contacting both the store and the franchise team directly with proof of the transaction, and nobody has responded. This alone is unacceptable, but what makes it worse is that after checking their previous Google reviews, I can see they have done the same thing to other customers in the past. That clearly shows this isn’t just a mistake — it’s a repeated issue.
If I don’t receive my refund or at least a response, I will be reporting this to the police and consumer protection authorities, because withholding customer money and ignoring complaints is not just bad service — it’s potentially fraudulent.
Customers should not have to chase a business for money they are owed. Completely unprofessional and unethical.

Disappointed with my recent visit. The chocolate bar selection was very limited and didn’t match the items advertised as on sale. To make things worse, the air conditioning wasn’t working, and some chocolate bars were beginning to melt.
What really stood out, though, was the poor customer service. The staff behind the counter were unfriendly and unhelpful — it felt like I was bothering them just by being there. I expect better from Circle K.

Price for Doritos said 2 for 10$ on the promo sign. Brought them up they charged me full price because the deal expired but the tag was stuff up. He did not honor the price made me pay full. So much for customers always right.

The prices on the shelves are not the same prices after you scan them. I can understand one item by accident. But two feels more than a coincidence.
The shelf prices are already high (which in itself is acceptable because I don’t need to shop there). But I don’t think it’s good business practice to see inflated prices at checkout (intentional or not). I should also add that when I inquired about it - they refused to honour the shelf price. I walked away in principle. I don’t want to support businesses that take pricing transparency seriously.
In addition to that, I’ve also noticed some very interesting pricing choices. Why is a 2L jug of 2% milk $1.40 extra for the same brand when the 0%, 1% and 3% options all the same lower price? That it itself might be okay (there can be legitimate reasons for it). But when you look at the totality of how this business handles pricing…. It feels like there’s a theme here.

Credit card fraud
Dear owner,
On 13/07/24 at 7:03 PM, we visited this location to pump gas. We were attended by W, Siddiqui (if that’s his real name). I asked to prepay at pump 2 for $100 and everything went well, we pumped gas for about $60 and got out of there. I decided to check my credit card statement earlier this evening to find out that I had been charged the entire $100 for that transaction and not a prepaid charge of $100. When I checked the receipt, your emoployee completed the transaction as cash on your machine and charged my credit the $100 without my consent. On the receipt it has been printed it out as a cash transaction and not a credit card transaction. My card has been posted a $100, not a pre-paid authorizated payment. I’ll be escalating this issue to Circle K, Shell and the police, I don’t know how else has been effected with this issue but I hope you will be reaching to reach a resolution about this.

Debit machine is down all the time. Spend some money on your company and buy working stuff. Again the second week in a row more problems at this garbage gas station because the owner is cheap.

Good selection, prices are ridiculous as most convenience stores are, Wheatley needs a small grocery store. Didn't stay, left right away and drove 10 min down the street to a real store

Worst customer service ever. When a lady named Kelly is "working", she completely ignores customers, plays on the computer, talks on her phone, goes outside and smokes. I honestly don't know how they stay in business because her attitude is awful. The owner seems friendly, and I think finding a good employee has been difficult, but this woman is destroying his business one lost customer at a time. I know of several people who stopped going there strictly because they won't waste their time dealing with her.
