DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!!! What a horrible experience. I made a purchase here with my flexiti card asked for no financing and was charged financing $150 extra because a cashier messed up, not to mention the merchandise I purchased was defective and smelly. I bought new pillows they shouldn’t smell like rotten fish and mould I paid $49.99 for a body pillow I can not use and $120 for 2 pillows that I can not return because my husband used them while I was away not realizing they have an wet mould smell to them. As well as customer service wants me to bring my entire purchase back to the store to have the problem “potentially corrected” not corrected, potentially!!!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE I REPEAT DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!***Update***Contacted customer service not willing to help spoke to a manager at customer service and the store manager . I am not willing to drive all the way back to Whitby to have a problem potentially corrected.

This particular store is ok. They have a lot of stock and the prices aren't too bad. The only problem I had was the office chairs. While trying to pick one out for my husband I noticed some of them are not functioning as they should and the staff hasn't bothered to replace them or simply take them off the floor. It made it very difficult to make an informed choice. Otherwise, it's good.

Oshawa Location checked inventory of the Whitby location because they were sold out of the item I want. Drove all the way to Whitby Location and the rep tells me they have them in stock but the item is too high on the shelf for him to get (which is ridiculous) and the person who can get it will be in tomorrow and to leave my name and number. Next day I hear nothing back from Jysk at all, when I show up on the way home from work the rep tells me they don't have any in stock and they wont sell the floor display. Asked me if I wanted him to check the Scarborough location which I had just passed coming home from at work and could have stopped there had they reached out to me like they were supposed to. Unprofessional to say the least by wasting my time and gas, I will not be coming back to Jysk Whitby any time soon.

Blake was an excellent help and had wonderful knowledge of the product, how to move it, and how to finance it. He was also extremely pleasant and cordial, and sent us home with a fantastic new bedframe.We highly recommend coming to this location and having an experience with Blake!

I went to a jysk location today and they had a sale table with about 6 Xmas Mats that were on sale for 10.99. I wanted to purchase one. I rang it in and paid and realized wrong price. The sales rep checked the table and confirmed they were 10.99 and called a manager. Manager came up and said he couldn’t change the price so unfortunately he could not sell it to me. Never been refused a purchase before. They should have a way to override the price if the sale was added mistakenly. You walk in to see the sale table right away when you walk through the door. I will not be a returning customer.

Loved shopping at JYSK Whitby. The sales staff were knowledgeable and courteous. The store is clean and organized. Items were easy to find. It was a pleasant experience. Looking forward to shopping here soon.

Hi,I had a very bad and super rude experience with JYSK Whitby store on Thickson road. I bought a Dina coffee table from clearance section on 16th September. Before purchasing and paying for it, I confirmed with the Associate that it was not on clearance because of missing item or damage. Associate assured me that because its damaged packaging it was on clearance. On 17th September when I opened the box to assemble it, a screw was missing, someone already used it and 2 of them were already screwed and it has a manufacturing defect. The screw holes were not aligned due to which it was damaged as well as not possible to assemble it. So I called the store and the Associate was so rude to me. She said I bought the item at my risk from clearance. She said to go to store and an employee can help finding screw but if we couldn’t find it then I should go to Home Depot. I was shocked and surprised how an employee can be this rude. I tried to explain her that I was being told that only the packaging was damaged. Infact JYSK has this policy where if any item is in clearance and is missing part or is damaged, JYSK mention everything on the box. But the associate started shouting and kept saying the same thing that its my problem and this policy applies only if I bought new item. The manager of the store also knew about this. He is equally responsible. The store employee was getting rude with a customer in front of the Manager and still nothing was done. She even straight away said that she is hanging up as she has to attend other customers.This is not at all acceptable. I will never enter JYSK again as I was badly humiliated.

I had shopped for desk and shelf and an associate named Blake assisted me in putting the items in my vehicle, I had an issue with the desk when I was assembling it there was a defect I came back the next day and Blake was working I had asked for the floor model because I didn’t want to have to keep returning back to the store, Blake had said he had to ask his manager right away the manager on duty was saying no even after I explained my situation to him, luckily Blake assisted me and making sure that my new desk had no defect on it opened the box and made sure everything was fine! Blake has excellent customer service always making sure the customers are assisted and happy he definitely has so much more potential then the others working there I’m not sure how he’s not part of management I would definitely hire him and shop here again and will only ask for his assistance!!!!!
