I visited the Michaels store in Whitby last week, and the customer service was absolutely excellent. A staff member who was stocking the aisles kindly helped me find what I needed, and at checkout, the cashier asked if I was able to find everything — something I don’t often hear these days.
A couple of days later, I realized I had lost my gold chain while running errands. It means a lot to me — it’s a symbol of my wedding. I retraced all the stores I had visited and finally came back here. To my surprise and relief, the cashier recognized me and told me they had found my chain! 😭 I couldn’t hold back my tears.
I was overwhelmed with gratitude and emotion, and in that moment, I forgot to ask her name. She truly felt like a motherly presence — kind, caring, and so genuine. I can’t thank her enough for her honesty and compassion. Michaels Whitby has truly outstanding customer service and team members who go above and beyond. 💖
