The guys here were willing to go the extra mile to diagnose the issue and fix it for me. They went above and beyond and drove myself and my kids home in a snow storm do they could keep working on the car. Highly recommend them. I will be back.

Late last year, I was searching for a reliable mechanic closer to home. I had previously gone to a shop in Oshawa, but it was far and, over time, my concerns were repeatedly dismissed. I experienced ongoing issues—a clunking sound when turning left, a chain-like noise when accelerating, and creaking over bumps or when getting in and out of the car. Despite raising these concerns with two different mechanics, I was always told they couldn’t hear anything. It honestly made me feel like I was going crazy.
I decided to try Midas Whitby due to their location and great reviews, and I’m so glad I did. I booked a diagnostic, and the service advisor (I’m sorry I forgot your name!) was incredibly kind, professional, and thorough. He clearly explained what they found, walked me through the process, provided transparent pricing, and gave me options—either repairing components in stages or completing everything at once to save on repeated alignment costs. I really appreciated that honesty and guidance.
What stood out most was the detailed inspection report, which clearly outlined what needed attention and what was still in good condition. The entire diagnostic process was straightforward and transparent. Payment and pickup were easy, and once I drove the car, the difference was immediate—no more clunking, creaking, or chain-like noises. The ride felt smooth and solid again.
Although the repair was costly, I expected that and it was absolutely worth it. These issues had been ongoing for years, and Midas Whitby finally identified and fixed them properly. I couldn’t be happier with the service. Thank you to the service advisor and the mechanics for taking my concerns seriously and doing such excellent work!
P. S. They also provided warrentys too which I was shocked and happy that they do that. 😭

They did an excellent job fixing my car. Even though the new rims didn’t initially fit, they found a workaround and completed the work successfully. I highly recommend this place.

It was my first time at this location. Normally I am not too quick to trust mechanics because of some of previous experiences. Myself I tend to ask alot of questions. I had let them know what I was needing. I knew there was some other works that needed to be done. Dave had explained everything well. I love the digital system that he had implemented so we know all the thing that are being worked on and what needs attention. I really love the transparency and now when I come here I feel more confident. Dave and his team are very courteous and professional.
