Terrible experience with grooming salon - both staff and services. I noticed they hadn't done one of the services I had paid for (nail grind) and then when I asked about the bandana (also included in the service I had paid for), they indicated they would do me a favour by throwing it in. What?! So, I asked them to confirm exactly what they had done so I knew I had gotten what I paid for, but for some baffling reason, they couldn't or wouldn't tell me. Just kept saying they did whatever was in the packages I had booked, even through there were at least two things they had missed.
Was this an unreasonable ask?
The woman I was dealing with (I believe the manager) didn't fulfill the Smart part of PetSmart - she was both rude and illogical in her repeated and unacceptable explanation for why she couldn't confirm what services they had done on my dog, even after I just wanted to get out of there. Go to the Whitby South location if you can - MUCH better.

I had an issue with my online order (damaged product) and Chris was very helpful from the moment he picked up my phone call. I went into the store, he went and got me 2 new bags of cat litter and went a step further to rectify the issue. Thanks so much Chris for all your help!

Today we adopted two beautiful kittens from Whitby North and we can’t thank them enough for what they do for the animals in their care (shout out to Oshawa Animal Services for their commitment as well).
Whitby manager and staff were as enthusiastic as we were about adopting and extremely efficient in making the adoption happen! Kudos to Whitby North Pet Smart, you guys rock! ???

Brought my dog there to be groomed today after dropping her off at 1:15 they called me at 3:24 to pick her up. I drove from Oshawa went out to pick her up shopped around the store bought her a couple toys then proceeded to go back to get pick her up and she wasn’t even done the person who is grooming her was on the phone talking to somebody while she was grooming my dog I watched her. She couldn’t see me and my dog couldn’t see me. Complained that I was early and then handed me my dog half groomed and told me to take her that she wasn’t gonna do her anymore. I was furious. I will never deal with them again. She used to own a business in Oshawa no wonder her business is closed if this is how she treats her customers and pets.

Booked an appointment for 9, arrives 5 minutes early…but the groomer was 15 minutes late for work.
I understand everyone runs behind schedule now and again, but when I went to go sit in the waiting area there was pee on the seat ?

This is the worse service I have ever experienced at a Petsmart!- No towels available for the Self Wash.- So because there were no towels, we saw a sign that says quick wash for your pets. No appt necessary. When we asked for that service they said depends on availability. Really?!!!!!! The sign just said “no appts necessary”. And “walk in available.”- My husband was waiting for a groomer customer service to come out and help him. 30 min of no one even acknowledging him!- The Self Wash no longer has conditioner- The Self Wash water shuts off every 30 seconds. We asked the staff whether they can adjust the timer for the water hose and they said no. We were there not too long ago and the water stayed on for at least 2-3 minutes at a time.Worse service. I need to find another Petsmart with better customer service and better service!

Doubled the price of the self serve dog wash and no soap or towels or service from associates when needed. It’s best you take your money and find a home based groomer so you can stop giving these greedy corporations your hard earned money.
