This is a very good store if you want to buy seasonings or candy! They have a very large variety of different gummies, candies and chocolates to choose from. But one day I went in the store to buy some gummies and there was a kid putting her bare-hands inside the boxes of candy. To prevent this from happening you can put signs telling kids not to touch the candy until they buy it. But overall its a really good store to buy candies!

Always liked this store before. But they closed an hour early today with no explanation. Web says 5. Their door says 5. But the door is locked and they're turning people away. Very disappointing.

Wide selection of products at very reasonable prices. Items are of pretty good quality. They don't have everything though so don't bet on this being the only spot for items last minute. Be careful not to buy too many bags as you start to fill your shopping bag full of items the bill adds up quickly.

Got what I needed. But no one around to help so took awhile to find all that I needed. Seems to have only been 2 people on staff and they were both at the cash. It was clean and seemed to be well stocked.

Newly renovated in 2020. More spacious, more selection and convenient. Staff always are helpful and courteous. Place is always clean and well stocked. We often frequent to get baking supplies for those kiddie inspired recipes. Especially for the holidays.

Staff is incredibly hit or miss. The older lady with short grey hair can be very rude. I understand I have to sanitize, you don't need to yell at me. They're also always sold out of the flavoured decaf coffee. There's one lady with curly brown hair, slightly tan, mid-late thirties who is wonderful, but most of the others aren't. Watch out on the prices for items here, a lot of times it's cheaper to go to walmart across the parking lot for the same items at a fraction of the price, such as the m&m's!

Sanitizing countertop at cash register isn't being done AT ALL as of Oct 26 2020 (during Covid-19 pandemic). I usually shop at the Uxbridge location (which is excellent in cleanliness and customer service), but when I questioned the cashier (cashier #159) at this location in Stouffville (on 10/26/2020 at 15:29) she laughed, shrugged her shoulders and said that every store has a different set of rules. I've sent an email to head office and hope to have a response. Thinking about it now, I should have asked for the manager and just left my items.

I visited after the post-pandemic renovation. The store is spacious, well-lighted and clean. I insanely love the spice aisle. Why would anyone want to buy bag after bag of dried herbs and grounded spices, if one can buy just enough from Bulk Barn to refill their empty spice bottles/mills? Bulk Barn is well known for its baking merchandises, and this one is no different. It is much easier for me to try out a new flour by buying from here than to buy a whole 5kg bag from grocery stores. And then there are the candies aisles. I agree that their candies are expensive by weight, so things that you love to buy in high volume, don't buy from here. However, if you want to try out something new before committing, this is the place. I actually bought 3 flavours of OMG! granola from this store, just for curiosity. And this is what Bulk Barn stands for me - fulfill my curiosity.

I heard from my wife who just did a walk-in shopping experience that they have renovated the interior and the impression which she got was a more clean feel. That's a good sign considering the current pandemic situation. We've got to keep places spotless and preferably germ-free. Curb side pickup request via online or phone is available and they do state that it's wise to order in advance - Preferably the day or night before. In my past experiences with this location, I would say that they're fairly stocked with what you need - Worse-case scenario, DOLLARAMA and WALMART are close by. The staff is usually friendly. And there's plenty of parking in the large lot. You never worry about that.
