Had Sunday Lunch here. Mac & Cheese is the best I've ever had! MTL smokes meet Rueben Sandwich was fabulous! If it were in my neck of the woods, we'd be coming back on a regular basis. Staff was friendly and kind. Restaurant clean and walls were filled with local art for sale. Love the community atmosphere.

Stopped for lunch after a bit of hiking based on recommendations of others. The butternut squash soup was some of the best I've ever had and that garlic flat bread that came with it? I would drive there again, just for the that. J*** chicken sandwich and bison burger were tasty also..side of mac and cheese also good. Only real downfall was that the food was not HOT when it came out (except for the soup) and it did take quite awhile for the food to come out. Overall good choice for the area.Nearby activities: Situated on the East Gate of Algonquin!Food & drinks: Delicious food…wish it had been hot when it arrived to the table.

My recent takeout experience from this restaurant was nothing short of a disaster..the food quality was shockingly bad. Every dish we ordered lacked flavor, freshness, and any semblance of culinary expertise. It was evident that no effort had been made to ensure even a basic level of quality. What made matters even worse was the pitiful portion sizes. The amount of food served was akin to what you might feed a toddler, leaving us feeling unsatisfied and hungry after what was supposed to be a satisfying meal.

Stopped here for breakfast. The meal was first rate. I am a vegetarian so got one of their meals without the accompanying eggs and it was honestly one of the best breakfasts I've had in a restaurant in years. Staff very friendly. Service was very good.

The chicken fettuccine rosé sauce special and Portobello burger were really good. The food took a while to come but it was worth it. Hazelnut coffee was great as well!

Conveniently located just minutes from the Algonquin park east gate in Whitney it's a traditional road side diner with a rustic and cozy interior. It's a popular place with both locals and park visitors. Food selection is good and affordable, service is very friendly but can take longer during busy times.Noteworthy details: Popular with the locals and can be busy during lunch time.

Stopped off here on the way back from Algonquin Park for a late lunch. We sat outside with the dog and waited around 40 mins for an order of nachos, kids grilled cheese and kids hot dog. There were about 5 pieces of chicken in a pizza box of nachos that cost $20 and not much otter toppings on them either so we didn’t find the food enjoyable or good value.

The food is good, I didn’t stay the night there but the rooms look good, my dad needed a quiet place for a test and they had a good room and good wifi/

Lovely spot to stop for lunch by the water. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the burgers, tasty home fries and excellent desserts, with personable and attentive service as well. Fun selection of local craft beers, homely vibes and great to see vegan options - highly recommend trying the brownie!
