By the Bay Resort is a family-owned and operated, family-oriented resort featuring a general store, campground, motel rooms, cottages, and seasonal campsites. It is a one-of-a-kind place in a beautiful area tucked back in nature's paradise. The resort includes a take-out restaurant known for its breakfast and fresh cut fries, and features 18 flavors of ice cream, which many enjoy while sitting at the end of the newly-renovated 200-foot dock. The motel rooms are described as very clean, spacious, comfortable, and comfy, making it a terrific find and a real gem. The attached general store seems to have just about everything you could ever need, including quick food, supplies of any kind, an LCBO, and gas or propane. The food made to order is delicious. The staff are always wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and extremely accommodating, making guests feel welcomed as if walking into friendship and happiness. It is a quaint place where you feel as if you've known everyone for years. Guests highly recommend it, always giving 5 stars every visit, and many state they would absolutely stay there again and want to return.

Best general store. They have amazing food and everything you could possibly need from grocery essentials, hot food, frozen, alcohol etc.

Been going for years. Such nice people! Store is great, they are helpful! Cabins are reasonable, clean and central to all the good swimming spots! Perfect dock onsite to fish from but not swim. No complaints, always a nice stay!

Extremely well maintained resort. Me and my family stayed there for a night. Brian and Sarah were very warm and welcoming. They've maintained the place impeccably. Cindy and other people in the staff made us feel welcome and responded swiftly to our needs. Would love to visit them again.
