EXPIRED PET TREATS.
We purchased some dental treats for our cats in October 2025. Turns out they were expired since FEB 2025. My cats ate these and got very sick (puking and diarrhea). Not sure why these were still on the shelves at all.

Not the Pet Value I normally go to ! But was in Toronto visiting someone and needed a sample of the cat food I use ☹️ has to buy the sample ! In my town you get 2 free samples before they charge you 🙄

I called ahead to set an item aside and when I went into the store the sales associate was friendly and helpful! My reserved item was at the cash register which made shopping so easy!

Honestly our new favourite Pet Valu location. The staff is so nice, friendly, and social, and the store actually has stuff in stock.

the groomer called my puppy a brat several times. when i picked her up she was shaking of anxiety, which never happens to her. i’m 110% sure she was hitting my pup and screaming at her. I called pet valu to put in a complaint and there was absolutely no care of further action taken for the safety of the puppies. Please don’t bring your puppies here, take them somewhere you can see how the groomer is treating them. Being $90 on top of that, with little to no grooming done, the smell and look of the grooming area, doesn’t even seem sanitary.

We've always faced good experiences at the Pet Value, staff provided us all support in order to find what we were looking for. Prices are also at the same level as other stores and sometimes we got products on sale. I do recommend.
