Terrible place ... there was an oriental female teller I gave her USD 45 then she deposited into my CAD account and transferred into my USD account ... then her supervisor or another bank employee intervened and asked her to call the call center .... I am waiting here almost half an hour and I don't know how long will it take .... I wish there was a ZERO star that I could give.... TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE

Worst customer service.
Manager sitting in back row is very unprofessional and technically don't know how to deal with day to day banking .
Avoid this branch if possible as they will not help you out in any manner.

Kristin is the worse in dealing with customer. I had very bad experience with her at this branch. She should gets replace asap!

On Friday, August 2nd around 3:45pm, I had the worst customer service experience at this new branch. Kristine Cvetanov (ID# 379747307) displayed highly unstable behavior, Racist comments, threatening to punch me in the face and becoming very aggressive. Even the branch manager, Rosa Pizurie, was unable to control Kristine aggressive and screaming behavior. Kristine needs to be terminated immediately, and Rosa Pizurie should receive training on how to manage and train staff effectively. I am also consulting with a lawyer to take legal action regarding this incident.

Worst customer service ever..need to verify my account..have to go to branch...dont drive...need cell phone and internet..put restrictions on my account but cant tell me why and to get them lifted need to go to branch...no help at all!!..to do by phone need to be internet savy...what if I'm 80 years old and only have land line!!

Had a great chat with Sophia Paul today, she was very informative and patient with the many questions I had and she took the time to confirm what she didn't know for certain. She's not my official representative, yet she's very proactive in getting my account issues resolved. The front desk aslo booked me in for a next-day appointment with a customer rep. quickly, and I'm grateful, but I can't help but feel the front desk could've had me sign my non-US residency declaration without having me return for an extra meeting. With that said, HSBC has some interesting services on paper. Looking forward to becoming a client.

I was very reluctant to go to HSBC based on all the bad reviews I read about them but after speaking to someone at the branch who seemed eager to prove the bad reviews were wrong I decided to give them a chance. Honestly turned out to be the worst experience in dealing with a bank i have ever had. I wasted 2 entire months sending them document after document after document and every document was never enough. They just kept asking for more documents. I gave them more documents then I have ever had to give any bank before only for them to say all the documents weren't enough. Almost all communication was done through email even though I would call to talk to them in person. It was a complete and utter waste of time and a total joke. After it was all said and done we went to 2 other banks who approved our application within DAYS who dealt with us one on one and who have already scheduled the appraisals!!!! And their rates were just as good as HSBC. Seriously this bank is a joke to deal with. I should have listened to the reviews from the beginning and not wasted 2 months of my time. In hindsight I am so glad we didn't get stuck with HSBC as our bank.

Worst place to borrow money from. $66 a month comes out of my checking account, $56 goes to interest! Avoid this place. I'd give negative stars if I could.
