Jackson Park is a beautifully maintained city park offering a multitude of activities in all seasons, including walking, running, birding, cricket, and tennis. It features vast green spaces, thick relaxing trees, a nice big playground, and a splash pad. During the holiday season, the park hosts a spectacular Festival of Lights with stunning and delightful light displays, an enormous Christmas tree, and lighted walkways, creating a magical atmosphere. The event includes vendors, fireplaces to warm up, and a train ride popular with kids. Visitors note that parking can be an issue for the light show and recommend carpooling or visiting during off-peak times to avoid crowds. The park provides restrooms, including wheelchair accessible options, though some are reported as messy.
