About McKee Park
McKee Park is a nice family park right off the water with great views of the Detroit River and the Ambassador Bridge. It is a pretty busy spot where people go to sit by the water, reset, people-watch, dream, walk, and fish. The park has a decent boat launch with plenty of parking. It features a brand new playground and several benches to sit and enjoy the views. It is a nice picnic spot. There are lots of geese and ducks, and sometimes cute dogs going for walks. The park is dog-friendly, described as a nice spot to walk smaller dogs and a relaxed place for them. A noted downside is that the ground is often covered in goose droppings.

I enjoy just going to sit by the water and just reset. I ppl watch, dream a little, walk, fish etc.
Nice family park. Right off the water and you can just take it all in while gazing at another country.

They redid this park recently and it's so amazing now. Love the views of the bridge and the Detroit River. Soooo many geese and ducks
