After being up all night with my husband doubled over in pain, I needed to go out to find him some medication. None of the pharmacies near us are 24 hours anymore, so I had to wait until morning. It was Christmas eve and the internet said that Sobeys opened at 6am, sooner than anyone else. I was so relieved. I got there shortly after they opened and grabbed what I needed. I thanked the cashier for being available to work so early in the morning, especially on Christmas eve. She happened to mention that they weren't not even supposed to be open until 7, but a mistake was made on Google so they opened an hour early. I told her my situation and how incredibly grateful I was that everyone was there and wished her a Merry Christmas. Thank you Sobeys for coming to my early morning rescue.

I was in this Sobeys on Wednesday December 17 to buy a steak for a late dinner. As I walked over to the meat counter I noticed a young fellow in the cutting room moving dirty mats around with gloves on. I watched the young man come to the meat counter with the same gloves on. Unfortunately he never changed these gloves and grabbed a steak out of the counter. I asked him if he used those gloves in the back and he lied to me face as he took off his left hand glove. With his right hand he grabbed my steak. Still with the dirty glove on his right hand he proceeded to package up my steak. My biggest mistake was not walking away. I should have listened to my gut. Now 36 hours later the food poisoning I have is extreme. Can I prove it was the steak? I didnt eat anything all day because my dad was rushed to the hospital. Im in so mush pain and cant leave the bathroom for longer than 20 minutes. Ive shopped at this location many times and had great service from the regular meat department staff. This was a young guy that made a huge mistake and lied about it to my face. Now im paying for his mistake. Be warned if you go after 6 pm you might run into this guy. Make sure he changes his gloves.

The bakery lady is very very very rude tried to get a bday cake for the next day and the attitude was so so so bad never going again it was the older lady.

The pharmacy is absolutely fantastic...I switched from Shoppers on Manning (they are insanely terrible)...the people here are very polite and friendly and helpful..meds are ready quite quickly and no problems at pick up ...great job guys
