I recently visited the branch for identifications because TD customer service couldn’t verify my identity over the phone.First of all, thanks to Joel for being polite and respectful and being understanding with my situation. A lot changed over past 12 years and the system records were not in sync. Luckily I remembered my PIN even after 12 years even though conduct my banking over TD App.Besides that, my experience with rest of the staff was very different. Even though I carried my SIN card, TD check books, citizenship cards & Canada passport, one of the Asian lady’s responses were “anybody can have it “. The way she said was totally unnecessary and shocking to me. I understand you were going by your system records but you were not trained enough to -1. Be customer friendly ; you were not thinking about your customer’s situation or needs.2. Those records were not updated in the last 12 years.I was put in a situation where TD trying to protect my money actually forced me to travel internationally just to prove that I am that same person and that too took me a bit of a struggle. Actually made me realize how hard & expensive is to bank with TD.What would have happened if I didn’t get my PIN right? Can’t imagine, a real cluster mess impacting my bank accounts with other banks.All was good for me at the end but overall I think TD should improve on two crucial points -1. System: business requirements need updating with a flexible approach and consider that life moves on for customers ( they become citizens, they change jobs, they move to other countries etc etc).In my situation since I have become citizen and TD staff was trained to verify my PR Card, which I have given back to government we were in a very difficult situation.2. Train staff members to think from customers perspective; not everyone standing in front of them is a fraud, and be polite and respectful too. Otherwise you will definitely lose your customers.

I was able to get to the atm in the bank in the beginning but not sure why know on Wyandotte anymore and don't know why

I want to know why I can't even use the ATM during the weekend break. Maybe I haven't seen it. It's the first time I saw the bank rest and locked the ATM door.

Started locking the doors and blocking access to ATM's after hours. Not good business practice by keeping us from our money.

Awful customer service. I went to cash out money from my account. Teller asked me about personal questions for example what I wanna do with money why I'm not choosing other ways to pay my depth and asking me for ID card sho wouldn’t stop asking personal questions . She literally humiliated me and when i said I’m not feeling comfortable about the way you are questioning me and my personal matters.(with a terrible english, she wasn’t able to communicate with simple language ) said, we want to protect you if it was somebody else trying to take your money while she had my ID card in her hands. Also she mentioned this is TD policy. First time in my life that i heard humiliation is policy.The funny part is after they sent me a security code on my phone, I received couple fraud messages.?

Worst customer service agents. Different CS agents will give you different solutions and none is going to work. Rude behavior. Either they are not properly trained or the bank culture is rude. They don't even escalate problems to higher levels. Thinking to close the account.specially train your Chinese customer service. She is rude. That person will throw out your customers.

Worst experience I’ve had at any TD branch and any bank in general. Sarah needs to be investigated by corporate, she was extremely rude, discriminatory and unhelpful to me during my visit. I closed my account after that disgusting encounter and I contacted corporate and HR about the poor treatment I received. Hopefully they can do something to this location to help them out, ideally close it for good. I will never do business with TD again.. save yourself the headache and avoid doing business with TD!

The Bank Manager himself has zero customer service skills or compassion, so you can imagine how the rest of the staff is here. He told me a bank error was “your fault” when I had 100% proof it wasn’t he didn’t care what I had to say he just walked away. WOULDN’T RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!

We were treated horribly, yelled at and talked down to by an employee who proudly announced herself as NADINE. We were stunned and asked Nadine to calm down (we were confused as to why she was screaming) NADINE got worse. I had told her she was being unprofessional and questioned her costumer service skills, to this she replied I was not a costumer!!!! Proud of herself that she wouldn't cash a $70 check THAT HAD TD WRITTEN ALL OVER IT- still I understood that- it was her disgusting demeanor that shocked me. ITS SAD THAT BECAUSE I WASNT A COSTUMER I WAST EVEN TREATED LIKE A HUMAN BEING. BTW NADINE is NOT the BRANCH MANAGER at all. WILL BE CLOSING ALL ACCOUNTS!!!! and ADVICE YOU TO STEER CLEAR OF THE DISGUSTING BULLY NADINE at 189 Tecumseh rd W location.
