Love value village. Only thing is that their prices have really gone up for things that they get for free. Bring something to donate and get a 20% off purchase coupon.

A good place to browse to pass the time. You may even find something you like if the price is right. Just a bit pricey for some items that clearly should be given away.

I can usually find what I need but you do need to look for the best deals. For example, I found a pair of Sorel winter boots, never worn, online price $169 for $28.49. A scarf handmade in Scotland also never worn, for $4.99. Some things can be a little pricey but overall pretty good.

Things have changed drastically since 2022! Prices have shot up almost 300% and yesterday I noticed a few items sold at Dollar Tree for $1.50 which was priced at $4 to $5 in used condition!!!If this keeps up, Value Village will become the new Walmart.

You better have a couple of hours to spare when visiting any of the locations. You have to sift thru many articles of clothing. But certainly does have monetary advantages.I do think given these things are donated the prices are a bit steep. And you will even find items higher priced than the original tag. That is a real bxtch!

BED BUGS AND COCKROACHES !BE WARNED, this location is not only extremely overpriced but also KNOWINGLY infested with nasty bugs. I was not able to get pictures of the cockroaches before they scurried away but this was the second time I saw one. The first time back in July I was assured by a worker they would let management know and would fix the issue. I came back this time thinking they would have solved it but the problem has gotten worse. I didn’t even bother to let an employee know this time, as it’s obvious they are just ignoring the problem. I use to love coming here before management gave up maintaining any standards.AVOID AT ALL COSTS, DON’T BRING AN INFESTATION OF PESTS INTO YOUR HOME!

Nicki the Manager wouldn't consider discounting an old lamp that was priced high as it was. But It would have still been doable had its cord not been chewed through. I figured they may have not noticed the condition of the cord at time of pricing and considering that i would have to invest in rewiring the item anyway I figured it very reasonable to ask they reconsider the price.what made this experience that much worse is that she had nothing to say to me. She told one of the clerks to tell me 'no' and that was it. No effort into customer service whatsoever and no explanation for her reasoning whatsoever. Considering that I shop at and donate to this place very regularly I am beyond annoyed. I decided not to purchase anything in my cart today. And requested information to speak with the store manager.Based on my conversation with the store manager tomorrow I will return and update my post. But if this is their policy on items that they primarily get for free from people like me, myself, family and friends will be going out of our way to avoid this place and will be sticking to other sources of thrifting and donating from here on out. As it is, everyone I speak to insists that they overprice their items and there is no excuse to say that it's due to higher expenses as other thrifting stores seem to be able to price reasonably well considering that majority of the items they receive are donations!

I give Value Village 3 stars for these reasons, Value Village is quite pricy for clothing they get for free- I paid anywhere from $14-$24 for items.Value Village has also gotten rid of all fitting rooms, and the returns only provide store credit, which isnt always the best if you can't find an item to purchase.I suggest wearing something that youre able to slip clothes off and on easily to try the items in the store aisles.

They used to have fairly reasonable prices. But now, the prices are so high. I bought childrens clothing on sale at Devonshire Mall, that were on sale for CHEAPER than Value Village charges for used stuff. Everything is overpriced in there, it's no longer worth going there. I also find Walmart prices are often lower than Value Village. They charge alot for their pictures too - they're also cheaper bought elsewhere.

Lots of clothing selection, but tons of over priced items, asking way too much for used donated things. Toy section looked like nothing but garbage and was a total mess. However the staff was very polite and helpful when we needed assistance.

All time favourite place for quick check and buy some new things. Highly recommended if you want to buy office wear and don’t want to spend a lot of money. I got this nice shirt there.

Everything is overpriced...(checked out their electronics, records etc)..for a business that relies on mostly donations....this company is out for the almighty $$$$ instead of passing these items onto consumers with better prices.Ridiculous

Good finds, but hate that it is only self checkout and my items were not scanning easily either. So I felt like I was holding up the line. I also dislike the fact that I donate clothes and get a coupon that expires. I never seem to come in the same time I donate, so my coupon expires before I use it. You should be able to use the coupon even if expired. You clearly know that I donated. But I do enjoy the shopping experience itself.

Only self checkout. Enjoy being watched while you scan your items and made to feel like a thief because of it. Really, it's very awkward and I don't like it.

Their customer service over the phone was very much appreciated. They were welcoming and helpful. Being a thrift store I understand it can be difficult to tell a customer what they have on hand. Three other stores in the area were not that helpful or nice over the phone. This made us want to travel to this location.Thank you for taking the time to help.I believe her name was Chloe. ??
