Salvation Army in Wingham is one of my favorite thrift stores! As a regular visitor, I’m always greeted by friendly staff and leave with great finds at reasonable prices. If you're in the mood for a fun thrift store adventure and want to discover some hidden gems, I highly recommend making the trip!

Friendly staff great for second hand clothing and many other items dishes frame crafts toys and so on clean they also provide a food bank for ones that need it

Generally decent overall. A lot of clothing items seem overpriced for the quality (already well stretched out).The odd time staff come across as patronizing. Example today- buying books- I specifically wanted books for myself. The lady at the checkout spoke to me as though I were a child when I greeted her and said "looks like I'm having a book haul" and she proceeded to ignorantly ask me "are these children's books?" And actually made me reply before she would continue, informing me that only children's books were part of the sale (that I didnt even know was on until I got to the cash). I didn't even come in for children's books necessarily. I came in for books for me and the sale was just a bonus. Maybe teach your staff not to assume things. And also coach them on how to speak to people... Particularly adults who are not children and do not want to be treated as such.

Great prices on everything, expect for women’s sanitary products. It’s bad enough we have to pay a fortune on these in grocery and drug stores. I came here to look for cheaper options and pads are 8-10$ for maybe 20 of them. You could buy more for less in stores. They may want to rethink those prices at Salvation. Disappointed.

Their items are priced right, you won't find thing at ridiculous prices. They always have new inventory and their store front display is always changing. It is nice to see a thrift store not gauging the people.Please note: you need to bring your own bags as they do not have anymore and do not accept bags as donation. So if you bought something and have to walk somewhere, be wary of this! Please allow people to donate bags so people who walk or forget their bags can carry the items they purchase.

As a shopper I love this place! but I know people who volunteer and unfortunately they don't treat volunteers well, they really need to have a set person in charge who communicates well, encourages and hears the concerns of those who give of their time to keep this store running!
