“Went to this store a few months ago to have my battery replaced in my HP laptop.
When I entered the place it was clutered with stacks of boxes.
When I told the gentleman what I wanted he led me to his work bench and told me to take a seat beside him while he proceeded to

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Neil and store manager!

I had one of the most stressful tech situations I have ever dealt with. During a device swap, I specifically asked for help transferring my international eSIM. I was told it should transfer automatically, and I left believing it would because I trusted they were the experts. When I got home, I realised it had not transferred at all. Because this number is tied to my iCloud recovery and other important accounts, I could not access my iCloud backup or even set up my new phone properly for almost 24 hours.

The first day, when I asked again for help transferring my eSIM, I was brushed off and told it was nearly closing time and they have not got all day.
I returned the next day feeling helpless and ready to file a complaint about the previous experience. That is when everything changed. The manager who helped me was patient, understanding and actually listened to what I was dealing with. She brought over Neil from the tech team, and he was incredible. He took the time to think through the problem instead of giving me a standard answer. He asked if I had another Apple device with me, then went to check if my old phone from the day before was still in the back. Somehow it was, and the eSIM was still on it. He managed to transfer it to my new phone and completely saved the day.

After almost a full day of being unable to set up my phone or access my accounts, this was such a relief. Neil even gave me a privacy screen protector as a kind gesture. I am truly grateful for both him and the manager. They were intentional, kind and genuinely committed to helping me. They turned a nightmare situation into a positive one.

A huge shoutout to Neil and the manager at Apple Store Yorkdale. They deserve real recognition for their outstanding service.”

“The repair time for my monitor was incredibly fast and stress-free! I purchased the monitor in 2022 and after the screen went black I contacted Acer support through their live chat service, and they were incredibly helpful! They set up a repair and got a FEDEX label to me immediately, I shipped my monitor out on Friday and got it back fully repaired on Tuesday! Wow! Not to mention the 5 year warranty on their product was amazing, you don't often see that! Thank you!”
