Very disappointed with this location. Been going for years. Bought two bags of Lactancia filtered milk on Nov.4 that weren’t supposed to expire until Dec.6, a week from now. First litre we opened tasted off so we poured it down the sink. Opened up the other two and one was ok but the third wasn’t. Dumped the third one and tried the second bag. First was sour so we dumped it as well. We could tell the last two litres were spoiled without even opening them so I called the store and they said we could refund or exchange both bags with the receipt but when I went, they would only replace one of them even though I brought them both including the receipt. I was asked why I dumped some of the milk. I told them I didn’t expect them ALL to be bad! We’ve had a bag of their Lactancia “filtered” milk go bad before but never had all three in a single bag and in this case TWO bags! Our fridge is working fine too because I bought two bags of Neilson filtered milk at No Frills that were ok even though they should have expired yesterday, Nov.27. I rotate the milk in my fridge and accidentally used the Lactancia from Food Basics first and it SHOULDN’T have spoiled before next week! The attendant also made a point to tell me that I “should see some of the things that go on here” as if I was trying to pull one over on them. Not impressed with their customer service after 20 years of being a loyal customer.

Never been to the store before. Accidentally walked in the exit door. Was promptly treated like a child and was told to enter by the proper door.

First time at this store. My first impression is that they treat their customers like criminals. They make you put a loonie in a slot to get a cart! That pretty much ended our experience. We didn’t have a loonie so that was a second frustration. Who carries cash any more?! So we walked around the fresh fruit department. Some stuff looked good but not enough to accept the criminal treatment to come back again with a loonie and shop!

Their prices are the only good thing here. But rarely do I find everything on my list in stock. Ex: today I couldn't even find bags of 2% milk. Store has 7 checkout aisles but I basically never see more than one actually staffed. They're trying to push customers to the frustrating self checkouts. Self checkouts work when you're in an electronics store with 2 items in your hand. Not a shopping cart full of produce which you have to search for in the system. Produce bags are so flimsy you get apples all over the floor by just looking at them the wrong way.

Shopping at store for someone else. Picked most of items, asked employee Joseph's help for few hard finding items. First time he told me he's not sure(very professional )probably at certain spot, 2nd time asked for help, he refused to help since I'm instacart shoppers. Talked to manager John, He kept saying we are here for help, but not for everything. Showed John most items found myself, just few more items need help from Joseph. However, he was defending Joseph, not helpful either. How did he become a manager???? They think Instacart shoppers are not customers. We my families are food basic's customer since we lives in nearby, my wife and my son's family always shop food basic for groceries. Now I will let them know No frills is our grocery store

2024: 5/5 - Went during the morning rush...lines are short, & fast. Place was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. No complaints.

Only note of concern is that the parking lot is not designed well throughout but especially the northern end...
