“I absolutely love the environment at Discovery Point. Every room my daughter Lucia was in felt like a smooth transition — she was always happy, excited to go, and truly loved her time there. This was her happy place where she had fun, learned, and discovered new things every single day.

Communication with the staff was another wonderful part of our experience — especially with Julia, who has always been caring, kind, and goes above and beyond to help and support families. Throughout our three years at the daycare, Julia patiently answered all my questions and made sure every one of my requests was taken care of. Even during a very difficult time when I was going through a separation, she showed incredible compassion and always checked in to make sure my daughter felt comfortable, supported, and happy. I will always appreciate everything she has done for us.

It wasn’t only Julia — all the Discovery Point staff members were amazing, including the kitchen team. They always made sure my daughter had food, even on mornings when we were late and breakfast had already ended. Her teachers would personally go get food for her — I never once heard, “Sorry, breakfast is over.” They always took care of her, and that means so much to me as a parent.

Yes, this is a long review, but I truly wanted to share our experience and say a big heartfelt thank you to everyone at Lucia’s Daycare. If I kept writing, it would be even longer! ?”

We absolutely love Great Lakes Montessori. My son started here at just 16 months old, and now at 1½ years old, the progress he has made is incredible. He already knows his colours, is very organized, and even cleans up and puts his toys away neatly on his own. You can truly see the Montessori teachings reflected in his everyday life.

The teachers are all incredibly caring, attentive, and genuine—not only to the children in their own classrooms, but to every student in the school. Ms Naz, Ms. Christina is especially wonderful; she is always walking around, checking in on the children and classrooms, which really shows how involved and hands-on the leadership is.

This school makes you feel extremely comfortable and confident leaving your child in their care each day. We are so grateful to be part of such a nurturing and supportive environment. Highly, highly recommend Great Lakes Montessori!”
