Value Village, a Savers brand, is a for-profit, global thrift retailer offering great quality, gently used clothing, accessories and household goods. Their Rethink Reuse® business model of purchasing, reselling and recycling gives communities a smart way to shop and keeps more than 700 million pounds of used goods from landfills each year. They also help more than 100 nonprofit organizations by purchasing donated goods from them, which provides a source of revenue to help supports their vital community programs and services. The company operates over 300 locations and has 20,000 employees. While the items at Value Village are generally alright, some customers have noted that the front of the store can look like a "garbage dump" and is in need of a clean-up crew to maintain a better appearance. However, the staff at this store are often praised for their polite, patient and hardworking attitudes, despite sometimes being understaffed. They handle long lines, keep things moving, and carefully check tags at checkout to prevent theft, though some customers take advantage through shoplifting or not paying at self-checkout. One customer had a positive experience, finding a "hidden gem" of hundreds of dollars' worth of books for just $60. Another noted that the prices can be a bit high, and that the staff were "stingy" when it came to letting them view jewelry. Overall, Value Village seems to offer a mixed experience, with great staff but sometimes less-than-ideal store conditions.
They honestly didn't have as much things as the other places I have been too... Not a lot of kids clothes.. but I was still able to buy some things but had to. Heck a different location for the rest..
