I really meant to share this experience in August as I really feel it's an important experience to share. So i was in Woodstock in August. I went into Walmart for a minute and when I came out my truck wouldn't start. I assumed it was out of fuel so I pushed it down the parking lot to the Canadian Tire Gas Bar. I put fuel in and still it wouldn't start. The employee inside said to just push the truck forward into 1 of the only 2 parking spots on site. I spent most of that night unable to figure out what was wrong with my truck. The gas bar closed but I was allowed to remain over nightThe next morning a different employee and the manager came into find me there. Both were very nice and didn't complain even a little at the mess I had made, or about my tools, etc all over. In fact they were very friendly and offered help where they could, even bringing me drinks. What happened next is the real part of this story.Well into day 2 at the Canadian Tire Gas bar the manager, Jay comes out and brings me a drink and says he needs to talk to me. He advises me that someone from Canadian Tire corporate had noticed me there and I couldn't work on my truck there. The problem was though, to get out of the parking lot you need to go up a pretty big hill. There was no way I could push my truck up.Walmart doesn't care if you sleep in their parking lot so I needed to get my truck up the hill to Walmart, but I had a big issue. Truck wouldn't run and I was pretty much out of money. I told Jay I was kind of screwed as I only had the money I had on me, I didn't have my bank card or anything. To my surprise Jay offered to pay for a tow truck to tow my truck up the hill at a cost of about $80 bucks. But Jay didn't stop here.Realizing I was serious about being out of money Jay told me to sit tight for a minute. When he returned he handed me $300 in cash out of his own pocket. He told me to get what I needed to fix my truck and get home. I told him he didn't need to do this but he insisted. I was litterally blown away by this man's generosity and willingness to help out a complete stranger. It really help to give me renewed hope in the human race. I didn't think there were people like him out there anymore. But oddly enough 2 years ago at another Canadian Tire Gas bar ear Cornwall, Ontario an employee there should me his goodwill as well, not with money but just as big in terms of the way I viewed the situation. Both these men should be given some sort of award by Canadian Tire and if I have anything to say about it they will..

Drove from Thamesford (24 kilometres) to fill my propane tank. The Sign with the filling hours posted said that the propane station was open. Asked the attendant if he could fill it. Reply was no that I had to wait 2 hours until a second attendant came in. Go to the Sunoco Station down the street. Don't waist your time here !!!!!

I've made an effort over the years to purchase from Canadian Tire and support the local economy and local business. Today I went to the Woodstock store to buy a battery charger. Upon going to the automotive counter to pay, an older fellow I'm guessing is the manager told me the store is closed. I didn't say anything and he said it's car drop off only, there are no tills open. I was a little miffed, but didn't say anything, and turned to put the charger back on the shelf when this fellow yells at me "DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M SAYING TO YOU!". So I yelled "CAN I PUT IT BACK". At this point he looked embarrassed and walked away. I went home and ordered over night shipping on a charger from Amazon, and I'll shop elsewhere for a while.

ALWAYS closed early. Change your Google schedule if you're going to shut the pumps off earlier.

Propane is supposed to be filled between 11-6. Went at 5pm and refused to fill, said they were too low staffed to do it. Also the woman working there was not wearing a mask

It’s been a year! Get your bathroom open. Some days they allow someone to use the bathroom and other days no. My son was turned away and had to walk over to McDonald’s.

Worst management. Worst work ethics of the management. Supervisors are always pushing a trip. Authority and responsibilities are two delicate things not meant to play with.

Purchased a propane tank from this location and after 5 times bbqing it was empty. I called to have them come to some kind of resolution but after leaving my name and number, no manager has bothered to call me back after a week. I'm not sure if this was a mistake or they intentionally under fill the tanks but I wont be coming back for propane and advise others to do the same.

Tired of Woodstock gas prices higher than anyone else in SW ontario. Everyone is sick of being gouged by greedy retailers. Maybe you need to rethink your prices or go out of business when people start shopping out of town?
