Yarker Lucky Dollar is a family-run establishment that is friendly, honest, and helpful, with a great selection of items. It is very well stocked with a little of most essential grocery items, including alcohol, flowers, and snacks, and has everything you would ever need. The owners are incredibly friendly, family and community oriented, and supportive, with smiling faces greeting you. There is an excellent flower selection in the spring, summer, and for special occasions. Most staff are always pleasant and helpful, creating a very friendly atmosphere. However, some reviews note that one older woman staff member can be grumpy, unwelcoming, rude, and short with people. The store layout is a little cramped, making it somewhat difficult to find things, and the parking is not ideal, requiring crossing a busy road. Despite this, prices are reasonable, and it is highly recommended as a one-stop shop for most things.

I have known Chong, Sue and Dave my entire life. Salt of the earth people and an incredible store, which is the heart of Yarker. Since moving back to Yarker with my wife, the lucky dollar is right down the road for quick and easy convenience. Nostalgic every time I walk in.
